Job Description

  • The Sr. Associate Business Intelligence Analyst will be part of the Data Analytics & Decision Science team. This role will be responsible for providing actionable business insights to McKesson Consumer Markets using analytical solutions resulting in concise analytics.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with cross-functional teams in Consumer Markets to establish current opportunities, gather business requirements, and address analytical needs
  • Handle daily Consumer Markets Analytics Cockpit Looker operations and maintenance such as version updates, user setup, ad hoc dashboard updates, content enhancement, and data optimization
  • Extract and assemble large datasets with the usage of our Analytics Cockpit and data warehouse
  • Organize and structure content in a logical and user-friendly way that deliver actionable insights across multiple business users through ad hoc reporting and use of our Analytics Cockpit solution
  • Regularly partner with Data Science & Engineering team to ensure alignment of team goals and objectives
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Use of a data driven approach with a focus on key strategy initiatives
  • Transform insights into clear and concise, visual, written, and verbal communications



Minimum Requirements:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience



Critical Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience in a highly analytical role while demonstrating a data driven approach to provide business insight
  • 2+ years of experience with Data Visualization Tools (ex. Looker, Power BI, Tableau)
  • 2+ years of experience using SQL to retrieve data from a relational database (ex. Snowflake, Oracle, Big Query)
  • 1+ years of experience in eCommerce, retail, distribution, manufacturing, technology, or related services environment preferred
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Ex. V-lookups, Pivot Tables, functions
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to lead calls involving other Consumer Markets teams and all levels of leadership



Additional Knowledge & Skills:

  • Skilled in statistical modeling and data interpretation
  • Strong work ethic and experience working within a team



Education:

  • 4-year degree in business or related field or equivalent experience



Travel:

  • 10-15% to attend meetings/trainings/conferences as needed
