We are looking for a passionate individual to join our Strategic Finance team. As a Senior Analyst, you will work on core strategic finance modeling while executing various projects that will help accelerate our business. You will work cross-functionally with multiple teams across Box, including Business Analytics, FP&A, Marketing, Product, Corporate Development and Sales.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Support quarterly board meetings and annual financial planning processes with the leadership team, developing long-range financial forecasts including key drivers, P&L, cash flow and unit economics analysis
- Track KPIs tied to strategic goals and long-range financial plans
- Build cross-functional relationships to help accelerate new strategies
- Serve as a subject matter expert on strategic finance special projects around BUs handling inquiries and developing action plans to address them
- Dive deep into data and generate insights to support decision making
- Launch your own growth initiatives focused on improving sales and retention
- Lead ad hoc financial analyses and diligence for corporate development projects
WHO YOU ARE
- 3+ years of experience in a financial, analytical or strategic growth role within an investment bank, consulting firm, or high growth tech company
- Outstanding analytical abilities and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and ability to produce high-quality work
- Self-starter, with strong ability to work with minimal direction and to set effective project plans
- Works comfortably with incomplete information and deals with ambiguity
- Exceptional attention to detail and focus on accuracy; able to translate big-picture analysis while never losing sight of the finer points
- Strong work ethic and team-first attitude: humility and someone intellectually curious make for a high-level contributor
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization
- Bachelors in STEM, Finance, Economics or Marketing
- Experience with or strong desire to learn SQL a plus
