The Opportunity
Report out on SmartAuction business performance. Work closely with sales, operations, and leadership to analyze emerging trends and drive business decisions.

The Work Itself
- Develop reporting for automation, utilizing SAS or MS Access, for new requests
- Create management reporting
- True-up various rebate programs for dealers/groups
- Perform ad-hoc analysis to help drive incremental sales and revenue
- Work with SmartAuction Sales, Operations and Leadership to implement decisions
The Skills You Bring
- Bachelor's degree required (in Business, Finance, Economics, Math, Statistics or Computer Science).
- 3+ years in a business analytics role preferably in Auto Lending or related fields
- Comfortable with analyzing complex problems and working to implement new remarketing strategies
- Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Represents Ally in a professional and positive manner in all situations
- Strong SAS experience preferred:
- Experience with structured and unstructured data
- Working knowledge in SAS Macro language
- Strong MS Access experience preferred:
- Writing SQL, connecting to ODBC sources
- Working knowledge of VBA
- Ability to work with large sets of data
- Proficient working with the following preferred: SAS, Access, VBA, Power BI, Oracle, SQL server, etc.
