OVERVIEW:

General Mills Digital & Technology department is developing a best-in-class Product Content Management capability (MDM, PIM) to accelerate growth in stores and on the digital shelf. Product Information Capabilities team is seeking a Senior Business Analyst that will play the critical role of linking business objectives to core technological capabilities. This role will drive technical enhancements and business process improvements for STEP Master Data Management (MDM) tool and Ready to Launch processes. They will be responsible for collecting requirements from business, establishing processes, and coordinating the work with technical team and cross-functional partners.
  • Lead discovery efforts into technical enhancement requests and business process improvements
  • Lead productive business process discussions, and architecture/solution conversations across different functions/teams
  • Prepare training materials as needed to conduct and facilitate training to increase awareness and drive the smooth adoption of technology/business process
  • Collaborate with a Product Owner to shape the end-to-end product strategy and determine business value

MINIMUMS REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience or Exposure to Master Data Management (MDM)
  • Knowledge of Ready to Launch (RTL) and end-to-end product commercialization (GTM) processes.
  • Experience collaborating with multiple functions / teams in the organization to drive impact on business results.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to understand complex business needs
  • Ability to articulate business requirements and bridge the gap with development teams and stakeholders
  • Change champion and process ambassador; Adapts to change, and pivots quickly
  • Ability to research, plan, organize, lead, and implement new processes or technology
  • Effective and efficient team player with excellent interpersonal skills, who can also resolve problems independently
  • Experience with change management
  • Strong verbal and written strategic communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Exposure to STIBO STEP
  • Experience leading / working with teams in an agile setting as an analyst.
  • Comfortable in ambiguity
  • Drives productive discourse

DEVELOPMENT CANDIDATE TO RECEIVE:
  • D&T PIC (Product Information Capabilities) Team supports two primary pillars: PIM and RTL. You will be part of the overall PIC team which will provide end-to-end exposure including commercialization process and eCommerce.
  • PIC team supports markets (US, Canada, Europe) across the globe - this opportunity will provide global experience. Also, team members are based out of US, Canada, Mumbai, and UK which provides the true global experience.
  • Learn how current state business processes impact E2E product commercialization and how to drive efficient process improvements
  • Develop skills in influencing organizational change, designing end-to-end processes, and enabling technical implementation of new system solutions
