The Supply Chain - Sales & Operations Planning Analyst will be responsible for Supply Planning for a Region(s)/District(s). A successful candidate translates Sales & Inventory plans into actionable and effective Operational Plans that deliver against the Operational Customer Experience targets. This role is highly cross-functional and will partner directly with many downstream operations teams (Logistics, Transportation, MFC Operations,...) and external partners (Vendors, Distributors...) It will be imperative that this person demonstrate the problem-solving and analytical skills necessary to thrive in a fast paced and entrepreneurial environment.
This role will be located in one of these cities: Philadelphia, PA or New York City, NY.
Responsibilities:

    • Establish a deep understanding of goPuff's business strategies, internal processes, and overall supply chain and operations capabilities
    • Partner with upstream Demand Planning teams to understand the upcoming business drivers as critical inputs into the Supply Planning process
    • Analyze and develop strategies to reduce OOS and increase TURN through improved DC inbound and outbound inventory flow and Vendor Delivery and On-Time performance
    • Partner with Regional Manager/District Managers/General Managers on developing inbound and outbound inventory flow strategies to maximize MFC Throughput and Capacity Management
    • Develop distribution strategies contingent with unique territory requirements as it pertains to volume, size, capacity, and other business strategies
    • Manage DSD and DC MFC Inbound delivery schedules with a focus on optimizing overall location throughput capacity and driving On-Time Delivery performance
    • Troubleshoot supply and capacity misalignments within the network and determine mitigation plans to ensure consistent and reliable MFC Operations
    • Stay updated on inventory management/supply chain best practices in an e-commerce and last mile delivery environment


Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree required
    • 1-4 year of experience orchestrating Inventory flow for Supply Chain
    • Capable of taking initiative, ownership, and accountability for the business
    • Ability to react quickly with a strong sense of urgency
    • Must have strong computer skills - proficiency with excel is required
    • Must be extremely detail oriented and organized
    • Must have effective communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Must be willing to travel 25% of time
