Job Description

Sales Incentive Plans Analyst

About the job

Nielsen’s Sales Operations team is the engine that powers our commercial organization. They manage our sales process, technological tools, analytics and reporting, enabling our sales teams to build our business efficiently and predictably. You’ll work collaboratively with a cross-functional team to implement our global sales incentive plans (SIP) across multiple countries. Then once it’s launched, you’ll make sure it runs smoothly and accurately, standardizing and simplifying processes to continue improving our compensation systems.

  • Develop a deep understanding of Nielsen’s incentive plans, sales teams, and financial systems, including Salesforce and SAP

  • Lead country-level implementation of sales incentive plans for your region, working in partnership with HR, Finance, Compensation and Commercial stakeholders; define a process to track your progress

  • Own group onboarding as well as end-user training and ongoing support for CallidusCommissions

  • Act as a CallidusCommissions subject matter expert, working closely with technology & product teams to write requirements for automation, change requests, enhancements, and log defects; test and validate configuration changes and modify plan rules

  • Maintain documentation of local processes and configuration to ensure ongoing data accuracy

About you

You’re more than detail-oriented, you’re detail-obsessed. You’re known for your impeccable organization and record-keeping and can document your processes so that others can follow them with the same precision. But data accuracy isn’t the only thing that matters to you—you care about the people behind every number, too. In fact, you’re a bit of a people person and feel energized by successful collaboration. Curiosity, communication, and critical thinking drive your work. Where others see only a complicated operation, you see the potential to create a simple, streamlined procedure.

  • 1-2+ years of experience supporting or administering web-based applications such as Salesforce, CRM, SAP and similar

  • Desirable experience using incentive management tools such as CallidusCommissions (preferred), Xactly or Anaplan

  • Desirable experience managing projects that require process improvement
