Senior Web Analyst at Newsela (Remote)
As a Senior Web Analyst ,you will be a key senior team member responsible for everything related to Newsela’s web analytics projects. You will own the architecture, implementation, documentation, event tagging conventions, and event tagging specifications used to track and study user behavior across all our websites using Heap.io auto-capture as well as its custom events. You’ll partner with Product, Marketing, Engineering, Learning, and Data Systems teams to produce analysis and help formulate, standardize, and implement tracking requirements. You’ll also serve as a subject-matter expert on digital implementation and measurement as it relates to web analytics for all Newsela websites. You’ll lead the formulation of a sustainable and reusable framework for collecting, reporting, and analyzing digital behavior and web analytics data with the goal of improving user experience and increasing acquisition, conversion, engagement, and retention.
