Senior Technical Analyst, Data Rationalization and Automation
This role focuses on supporting data automation and tool enhancements to automate processes across all the Cost Containment teams. It also supports strategic processes to develop and organize rationalization recommendations with a focus on system retirements and consolidation.
JOB SUMMARY:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Supports the automation of key processes across the Cost Containment teams, including through data automation to organize key elements of cost containment opportunities
- Partners with business and development teams to identify, develop, and organize application rationalization recommendations
- Provides advice and support on rationalization opportunities
- Contributes to the identification of pilots for rationalization
- Provides advice on how we establish and maintain a framework for applications rationalization
- Supports the education and engagement of key stakeholders on business implications of portfolio decisions
- Contributes to the rationalization project initiation, risk assessment, execution, and post project reviews
- Contributes to the development of Cost Containment governance processes
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 4 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 2 years' experience; a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 8 years' experience in a related field
- Excellent interpersonal, executive presence, presentation, leadership, communication (verbal/written), and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization
- Requires strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Understanding of Agile principles and project management methodologies
- Knowledge of SDLC, demonstrated by expertise in the various phases of work associated with software development
- Knowledge of DevOps principles, processes, and tools
- Experience with automation technology
Preferred
- Experience in Telecommunications or Broadband industries desired.
