Hologic is evolving its organization, and the Senior Solutions Analyst will play a pivotal role in establishing Information Technology (IT) as a strategic business partner that understands, enables, and improves core business strategy, processes, and operations through technology solution design and delivery. You will partner with our global service business stakeholders to identify business needs and technology solution opportunities as well as with developers and vendors to translate technical business requirements into business solutions. You will lead enhancement projects for existing applications (scope, design, build) as well as deploy new applications and onboard third-party SAAS solutions.

The ideal candidate must have a deep understanding of service business functions (e.g., Technical Support, Service Operations, Customer Experience, Field Service, Service Supply Chain), processes, leading practices, and application landscape. They must be able to lead cross-functional teams through the development lifecycle. The Senior Solution Analyst must have outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to drive clarity and consensus around business requirements and technology solution options across business and technical audiences. To be effective, the candidate must have the ability to quickly build effective working relationships with business and technical teams across multiple locations, globally. Core team members are spread across the country and globe.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide business process guidance, technology solutions, and on-going operational support worldwide for our global service business.
  • Partner with Hologic leadership to establish priorities; provide guidance leveraging data-based facts; assist with developing business cases to support technology and transformation investments.
  • Be a subject matter expert on the Salesforce platform specifically within the following modules:
  • Service Cloud, Salesforce for Field Service, Asset360, Community Cloud, CPQ
  • Have strong declarative programming skills on the Salesforce platform
  • Have a working knowledge of ERP systems and their role within technology landscapes
  • Have a working knowledge of integrations between ERP's and CRM's
  • Relentless, constant focus on simple, holistic, and intuitive user experiences, that work seamlessly across desktop and mobile devices.
  • Design technology solutions, leveraging native application features first. Carefully design custom solutions leveraging configuration / code following best practice; in a manner that minimizes technical debt, allows users to manage data independently from IT, and is sustainable and flexible for future growth.
  • Provide business partners with process driven, solution options
  • Challenge legacy processes/policies/rules (or lack thereof) that complicate the internal and external Customer Experiences; recommend and be part of a better solution.
  • Work across silos/business functions to provide comprehensive end-to-end solutions (e.g. Sales & Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, etc.); initiate, lead, and participate in collaboration across business and IT teams.
  • Own all steps of solution delivery, from start through acceptance, including, but not limited to design, system configuration, unit & regression testing, mass data maintenance; all following IT controlled procedures and deployment processes.
  • Train/educate end-users to use application solutions from the perspective of the business process flow; across desktop and mobile devices; remotely and in-person; includes troubleshooting/error handling, discern data vs. system problems.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies in & outside the Salesforce ecosystem; educate business partners on what is possible via technology.
  • Socialize clearly and proudly the business value of the solutions you have enabled.

Experience/Education:
  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Business Administration or Computer Science/Engineering
  • Professional services/consulting or Salesforce Admin background preferred
  • 5-10 years' experience managing & supporting enterprise-scale business applications
  • Experience implementing Salesforce CPQ, Service Cloud, Communities, Asset360 and/or Salesforce for Field Service strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of commercial business processes across sales, marketing and service
  • Self-starter operating in a constant mode of learning to develop mastery with application features
  • Experience writing business requirements and technical specifications
  • Strong analytical skills & ability to design solutions
  • Knowledge of various project management approaches (Waterfall, Agile, etc.)
  • Ability to manage time and workload on multiple projects/initiatives; adaptable to shifting priorities
  • Ability to respectfully challenge the status quo, and influence others to achieve results
  • Soft skills: consultative; team-player; detail-oriented; problem solver; proactive; organized; driven
