Overview

FUJIFILM Electronic Materials, a global leader in chemical solutions for the semiconductor manufacturing industry, has an exciting opportunity at our Mesa, AZ facility for a Senior SAP Systems Analyst!

The Senior SAP Systems Analyst will be responsible for leading technical resources, managing projects and production support activities across functional areas in a manufacturing environment. The perfect candidate should have experience with enterprise SAP systems, software development and in depth functional knowledge in SAP Sales and Distribution, Materials Management (Material Master, Purchasing, Inventory, and Management), Production Planning, Warehouse Management, Plant Maintenance, Quality Management, Environmental Health and Safety and Finance and Controlling processes.

The candidate should be able to manage junior resources, off-shore resources and third party service providers for B2B process, freight rating, bank partners and others.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as technical leader and mentor for junior team members.
  • Manage and lead contract resources including on site, remote and international (EU and India).
  • Research new technologies and remain abreast of industry standards and best practices in the logistic and financial areas of SAP Systems. Analyze potential impact on company systems and share the impact with IT team/business process owners of actions needed or other recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities in current system design which will,
    • Add value to the business and improve the business processes.
    • Simplify, Standardize and Automate processes.
  • Act as Project Lead and own responsibilities for development projects.
  • Work with all the stakeholders to gather business requirements. Design and develop solutions in the main functional areas using latest available technologies and best business practices.
  • Responsible to prepare project/change management plans and coordinate activities for completion with all stake holders including end users, process owners, internal/off-shore IT teams and possibly external consultant.
  • Design, develop, test and implement change requests and projects, from start to finish.
  • Work in an international team (US, Europe and India).
  • Perform Unit testing and co-ordinate users testing to get approval for projects/change requests deployments.
  • Responsible for creating project documentation like Business requirements, Functional Specifications and Test Scripts
  • Research OSS notes and improve business/system processes.
  • Perform production support for the Helpdesk tickets submitted by end users. Provide 2nd level support for resolution for the local end users or escalate to other IT team members for resolution.
  • Propose and execute configuration changes and/or enhancements to the existing system to resolve production support issues, if needed.
  • Update status of assigned tickets in the Helpdesk and inform business users accordingly.
  • Responsible for communicating with end-users, providing training support (as needed) and work within agreed upon production support service levels.
  • Participate in internal meetings and other management/safety meetings/trainings.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Four-year college degree, in Computer Science or in Engineering.
  • 5+ years related work experience with enterprise SAP systems, with cross functional expertise, including application development.
  • Experience in the SAP processes Sales and Distribution, Materials Management, Production Planning, Quality Management is a must. Knowledge about the integration points with finance is a plus.
  • Strong application debugging, query reporting, mass data upload and problem solving skills are required.
  • Knowledge about EDI, API, XML, IDOC and third party system integration is desirable.
  • Working knowledge with SQL server, UNIX and other web applications is a plus.
  • Formal education/Certification in ERP development and functional areas is a plus.
  • Skilled in the use of the following productivity tools: MSOffice (Outlook/Excel/Word/PowerPoint).
  • Ability to understand business strategy, analyze business processes and develop technical solutions to support the enterprise
  • Strong Communication skills (Written, Verbal, and Presentation) with ability to sell concepts and ideas to internal users/external customers. Must be a good team player.
  • Proven ability to provide technical leadership in order to provide quality business solutions and further development of relationships with end users.
  • Ability to multi-tasking and prioritizing the business requirements.
  • This is a safety-sensitive position that requires candidates to successfully pass a post-offer drug screening prior to employment. One of the essential job functions is the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
