The Red Hat Information Technology (IT) team is looking for a Salesforce Configuration Specialist focused on business analysis to join us. In this role, you will work as part of the Platform Operations team specializing in Salesforce.com (SFDC). You focus on platform health, process and policy creation, and integrations and connections that relate to the Sales, Marketing, Finance, and IT teams and other stakeholders within Red Hat. You'll provide technical insight and guidance as a customer relationship management (CRM) expert. As a Salesforce Configuration Specialist, you'll need to be motivated and have excellent communication skills, technical expertise, and ability to work under dynamic circumstances. You'll need to be able to provide best practices and recommendations for the SFDC platform health to various project and delivery teams within Sales IT. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business.
What you will do

• Salesforce.com (SFDC) systems implementation and direct configuration experience
• Interpret and refine requirements and user stories
• Explore solutions to issues by using system base functionality or, as a last resort, customization
• Understand the data integration and consumption patterns between various systems
• Assess change impact and guide impact analysis and project estimation activities
• Serve as the primary point of contact for supported business systems; perform functional and second-level technical support as needed
• Work directly with SFDC technical account management on proactive monitoring and system health
• Build and maintain documentation of implemented flows versus conceived and original designs
• Partner with other business analysts and use your knowledge of SFDC and related applications to analyze current business processes, suggest improvements, and participate in the implementation of new functionalities
• Work with the internal readiness and training team to ensure that new functionalities are clearly documented and reflected accurately in training materials

What you will bring

• 5+ years of experience implementing, configuring, and administering a CRM application; 3+ years of SFDC experience
• 7+ years of experience serving in a business systems analyst or equivalent role while working with complex application development projects, preferably in a global organization
• Solid analytical skills, particularly in the areas of data analysis and system integration
• Experience evaluating, selecting, implementing, and integrating technology tools into customer solutions
• Experience working on an enterprise-grade SFDC platform
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in information systems or similar, or equivalent business experience
• SFDC administrator certification is a plus
