Senior Requirement/Business Analyst - Quality/Product Safety
Description
This is a Hybrid position within our IT Organization. The role will allow employees to work offsite but will also require onsite work based on business needs. The selected candidate will be expected to commute to the innovation center to which they are assigned as their primary GM facility. Relocation may be provided.

he Senior Requirements Analyst is accountable for building and maintaining a strong relationship with our partners in the Business Team. This person, working with the Product Owner and another Senior Requirements Analyst, is responsible for eliciting requirements / user stories and representing them to all stakeholders, including the IT Development Team. Additionally, this person will lead requirements elicitation meetings and documentation while adhering to a standard Requirements format.
About the Role:
We are looking for a Requirement Analyst (Product Manager) who is passionate about building enhancements and new capabilities. You will provide requirements and product ownership support across a wide range of products and programs; based on year over year portfolio demand. You will be joining a fast-paced environment while working with cross-functional teams to help design, build and roll-out capabilities that deliver the company's vision and web strategy. You are expected to be a self-starter and proactively coordinate your job function across the demands of Business, Development and Quality Assurance. You will be responsible for eliciting requirements / user stories throughout the systems development cycle for one or more medium to large projects with increased complexity.
Major Duties/Responsibilities:
- Lead/assist requirements elicitation and documentation for one or more projects at a time (medium to large)
- Employ various techniques to effectively gather requirements
- Troubleshoot problems, effectively communicate and resolve issues
- Assist in developing strategies for long-term business functionality execution and support
- Develop a thorough understanding of business processes, best practices, and available supporting technology and service providers.
- Develop business process models, business requirements/user stories (functional and non-functional) and product backlog for the business processes
- Work with the business community to ensure comprehensive user acceptance testing/training plans are developed/executed and application is successfully transitioned into production
- Investigate and learn business issues and data challenges of business
- Support Agile Development process
- Serve as the liaison between the business community and the architecture teams, development and operations teams through which requirements need to flow
- Assist business with problem and incident management
- Provide Demo's of the Product to the Business Community as agreed to by both the Development Team and Product Owner.
Additional Description
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5 - 7 years' work experience with IT project execution
- Demonstrated in-depth understanding of Business Process fundamentals; including requirements elicitation, stakeholder collaboration, effective and timely communications, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated strength in critical skills such as collaboration, written and oral communications, and analytical capability
- Planning, negotiation and facilitation skills
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple initiatives without direct supervision.
- In-depth understanding of business issues and data challenges of the organization and industry as a whole
- Independently facilitates meetings including sessions with business stakeholders, development and quality assurance teams
- Presents information for decision-making purposes with little to no direction
- Strong Communication (verbal and writing) and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in IT project management, requirements definition, process definition, testing, and IT strategy and roadmap development.
- Expertise in utilizing requirements tools (Team Foundation)
- Strong time management skills
