Primary Responsibilities:
Test planning:

  • Review and provide input on all project level documentation
  • Create automated test plans and test cases as they relate to testing User Stories to ensure the overall quality of software delivered
  • Contribute to and assist in implementing improvements in test methods and strategies
  • Recommend regression test efforts around project code changes


Test execution and defect identification:

  • Execute manual test cases /scripts
  • Log, track, and validate resolution of identified defects
  • Escalate quality concerns to management
  • Monitor daily regression builds along with manual test cases/scripts execution

These roles include, but are not limited to, strategy, planning, standards, process, policy, tools, engineering, assurance, management, metrics, research and development, automation, data preparation, maintenance, new development, operations and delivery.

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • Solid experience with Soap UI / Ready API/Postman
  • Experience testing Web Services such as SOAP, Restful API
  • Experience in TDD/BDD
  • Experience in an Agile software development environment
  • Experience working with Rally or JIRA
  • Groovy and JAVA programming experience
  • Knowledge of XML, XML Schema, UNIX, JAVA technologies
  • Knowledge of Cucumber, Gherkin
  • Knowledge of all aspects of the software development life cycle
  • Solid SQL skills

  • Advanced Degree
  • Healthcare Insurance industry experience
  • Demonstrated leadership capability
  • Solid analytical skills
  • Solid attention to detail
  • Proven communication and documentation skills
  • Excellent organizational, troubleshooting and analytical skills required
  • Ability to work independently within a quickly changing environment with strict deadlines
  • Ability to multitask
