Position Summary
The Global Network Solutions (GNS) Team is responsible for developing partnerships that produce mutually beneficial results for Marqeta and our strategic partner organizations. GNS plays a vital role to deliver our vision to the market. Key to this role will be understanding the network landscape, payments processing and an ability to align internal and external stakeholders. You’ll be collaborating closely with the Marqeta extended team, including Business Development, Customer Success, Delivery, Finance, Product, Compliance, Legal and Technology.
Marqeta is looking for a Senior Analyst who is an influential leader that collaborates cross functionally to gain alignment as we focus on continual process improvement. The Senior Analyst will thrive in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for finding a way to deliver for our customers and stakeholders.
What You'll Do
This role will focus on network adherence and optimizing the support provided by GNS throughout Marqeta and with our external partners. This role requires a detail oriented influencer who can drive initiatives in a matrixed environment. You have an opportunity for tremendous impact as we scale the business.
GNS Operations and Process:
- Thorough understanding of network rules, processes and policies
- Assess network compliance, engage with key stakeholders to prioritize and address opportunities
- Engage with network subject matter experts to gain deeper clarity
- Manage initiatives, drive resolution, and ensure accountability (internally & externally)
- Provide thought leadership to optimize network adherence
- Gather, organize and present network compliance KPI data
- Develop and drive new/improved processes
- Elevate messaging about networks across Marqeta
What We're Looking For
In addition to the ability to drive process improvement and collaboration with internal teams, we’re looking for the following attributes:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 2-5 years experience in payments at Processor or Payment Network
- Knowledge of Visa and/or Mastercard rules, services and policies is preferred.
- Effective project management skills
- Ability to bridge the gap between business and technical teams
- Operates as an owner and drives accountability for assigned tasks
- Ability to prioritize with direction, manage and deliver on multiple projects; highly motivated and able to work against aggressive timelines
- Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high-quality deliverables
- Solid communication skills (interpersonal, verbal, presentation, written)
- Ability to travel occasionally, less than 10%
