The Sr. Marketing Analytics Analyst is responsible for marketing analytics and reporting, tracking sales web traffic/call volume, along with budget functions and duties. The role gathers/analyzes multichannel campaign metrics and creates visual data stories (ex: dashboards, presentations, etc.) for campaign optimization and executive reporting for multiple NRG brands. Works closely with internal sales & marketing teams (retention, brand, acquisition), external media agencies, and internal finance teams.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities:
• Ensure all marketing campaign metrics/KPIs are being tracked accurately
• Track, assess, and report data across acquisition/media and retention efforts (upper & mid-funnel, digitaladvertising, direct mail, email, and customer communications)
• Report performance for campaign results to understand the impact on retention efforts; brand strength,awareness, and consideration; market share across Texas and Northeast
• Track and pull data for digital (media channels: social, video, display, etc.) tactics, as well as analog datathat can include call volume, direct mail responses, and renewal rates
• Use data visualization skills to create reports, dashboards, and presentations that clearly, accurately, andreliably report on campaign effectiveness (ROI, CTR, CPM, VCR, brand strength, renewal rates, etc.)
• Incorporate previous performance and learnings to build clear data stories that offer actionable insights
• Ability to communicate and present the meaning behind the data and what the results mean, identifytrends, and help solve problems
• Track mass media budget spending as it relates to performance goals and metrics and reports onprogress with insights and recommendations
• Coordinate, track, and document departmental budget reconciliation, forecasting, and reporting toaccounting
• Contribute to the team, multiagency, and lower funnel team calls with performance metrics and insights

Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree required


Required Skills and Experience:
• 5 years' experience with analytics and reporting for marketing campaigns (online & offline sources)
• Expertise with business intelligence tools, web analytics, tracking technologies, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to track, measure, and report on omnichannel marketing campaigns to determine ROI
• Expertise in assimilating data from multiples sources to build dashboards and effective displays showingeasy-to-interpret trends, metrics, and actionable insights
• Strong data visualization skills with the ability to build meaningful/clear data stories from campaign metricsand present to a variety of audiences
• Self-starter with strong project management skills, driving multiple projects simultaneously against tightdeadlines
• Familiarity with sales lifecycle and understanding business needs/objectives
• Strong attention to detail, verbal/written communications skills, and solid business acumen
• Experience with subscription-based industry (electricity, cable, internet, etc.) is a plus
• Desire to make a difference for the environment a plus
