We also have an office space in the heart of downtown Chicago for those who prefer to get out of the house and collaborate with some colleagues in person.

Who we are:
Braviant is a leading provider of tech-enabled credit products that combines breakthrough technology and cutting-edge machine learning to transform how people access credit online. Our next-generation approach to lending reduces credit barriers and creates a Path to Prime to help millions of underbanked consumers build credit history, reduce their cost of borrowing, and take control of their personal finances. The Role:
Our analytics team is looking for a Sr. Marketing Analytics Analyst to focus on our Direct Mail marketing channel. This role will be instrumental in testing, optimizing, and implementing new analytics strategies to drive profitable growth as we seek to match the configuration of our products to the needs of our customers. We are seeking a hands-on data analyst with strong technical skills who enjoys analyzing large data sets to solve complex problems.

What you'll be doing:

  • Create strategies for implementation of predictive models such as selection criteria for direct mail offers, approve vs. decline cutoffs and verification requirements for various customer segments, and risk-based loan offer terms (approval amount, pricing, and duration).
  • Collaborate with the Data Science team to define requirements and use-cases for solutions that can rank order customers by attributes such as likelihood to respond to a marketing offer, default, and overall profitability.
  • Analyze and identify opportunities to further the execution of our disciplined growth strategy that balances short-term vs. long-term profitability and appropriately mitigates credit risk.
  • Design multivariate tests to ensure continuous optimization of our Direct Mail marketing strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to use data to support continuous channel iteration.
  • Develop reporting to monitor and validate predictive model performance and various Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) over time.

What you'll bring:

  • 2-6 years of relevant work experience in an analytical role.
  • Strong data analysis skills using SQL and Excel with pivot tables.
  • You build upon the ideas of others and value diverse perspectives.
  • You’re able to present complex topics to a diverse audience.
  • Superb problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in an analytical or data analysis field of study.

What makes you stand out:

  • Internet-based financial services experience.
  • Master’s degree in an analytical field of study.
  • You’re comfortable with the unknown: startup life allows for a broad, wide ranging role, but also means priorities and work can change quickly. You should be excited about all this entails!

What are Braviant Holdings Perks + Benefits

Braviant Holdings Benefits Overview

Though still a startup, our benefits rival those of larger, more mature organizations. Employees participate in focus groups to discuss what they like most about working at Braviant and what we can do better. We also survey and vote on key culture initiatives such as what our company values should be or which new benefits we should offer.

Based on this feedback, we recently enhanced our employer contribution to cover 100% of employee healthcare and disability costs. Other enhancements include a new wellness program and a professional development fund to support employees who wish to attend external conferences or workshops. In order to support new parents, we've introduced an enhanced parental leave policy that includes a gradual return to work with a reduced schedule in the weeks immediately following leave. We also offer leadership development training to equip our people managers with the right tools to drive engagement and results on their teams. At our core, Braviant recognizes that an individual's happiness contributes to the team's overall health, so we listen to employees and strive to provide a balanced environment for learning, opportunity, and fun!
