The Senior Manager, Strategic Planning will serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO by providing thought partnership, strategic analysis, and insights, helping define SentinelOne’s most critical strategic opportunities.
Working with executives and senior leadership, they will be responsible for delivering thoughtful, insightful, high impact contributions across a range of “high-stakes” strategic projects. Project work will primarily focus on developing strategic insights that will drive sustained growth at SentinelOne.
This role does not have direct reports, but will be expected to lead a variety of projects with their associated virtual teams.
What will you do?
- Deliver extraordinary strategic insights and recommendations while keeping a pulse on key developments in the external environment, industry trends, and competitor actions
- Conduct clear, consistent, fact-based analysis to advise key business decisions
- Plan and complete work streams for large, sophisticated projects, as well as take full ownership end-to-end for smaller projects
- Cultivate positive relationships with business partners across the company to advise and align strategy work, and to actively support the transition from recommendation to execution
- Drive the allocation of unusual resources to the highest value issues across SentinelOne
- Develop high impact presentations for key audiences, including the C-suite, Board, analyst community, and regulators
What you have
- 2 or more years of work experience at a premier consulting firm; prior experience in tech is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree; MBA (if applicable) – we are seeking both pre-MBA and post-MBA candidates
- Superior analytical skills, creativity in problem solving, and attention to detail
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with demonstrated ability developing materials and effectively speaking to executive audiences
- Comfortable dealing with ambiguity in a dynamic and fast-moving work environment
- Strong financial modeling skills and knowledge of financial/valuation concepts
- High proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
