Senior Manager, ESG - Strategy & Operations
THE ROLE
Peloton is looking for a hardworking and experienced Senior Manager to support the strategy and implementation of Peloton’s ESG initiatives. The ESG function sits within Peloton’s broader Strategy team. Together with the VP, ESG Strategy, the Senior Manager, ESG - Strategy & Operations will partner with cross-functional partners to drive and implement the strategy behind Peloton’s ESG initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners across Peloton, including DEI, Supply Chain, Product, Marketing & Communications, Government Affairs, Investor Relations, and others, to share information and to build and implement workflows and systems that ensure operational reliability, accountability, and clear feedback loops for high-priority, sophisticated, cross-cutting initiatives
- Manage strategic projects at the nexus of social impact and sustainability
- Serve as the team’s data, systems, and operations specialist who keeps track of Peloton’s company-wide ESG efforts and the ESG team’s efforts, associated critical metrics, and budgets
- Build a process for reviewing ESG team initiatives on a regular cadence and for exploring new areas of work outside of existing programs
- Lead the establishment and maintenance of internal data collection systems to use as a tool to advise decision-making and impact reporting
- Participate in and, in some cases, manage internal working groups
- Support the VP, ESG Strategy on any other projects or initiatives, as relevant and directed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience across ESG, consulting, strategy, and/or social impact
- Demonstrated commitment to ESG topics spanning both social impact and sustainability, with public company experience a plus
- Success leading large-scale initiatives, engaging a variety of cross-functional partners, and influencing without direct authority
- Superb organization skills and attention to detail
- Experience taking sophisticated projects from concept to execution, crafting structure and order to drive clarity, action, and impact
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to encourage your team and partners
- Comfort with ambiguity; able to make well-considered recommendations and decisions in a rapidly-changing landscape

- Identify new opportunities and areas of evolution within ESG at Peloton
- Deftly navigate the intricacies of working cross-functionally with many different teams and senior leaders in a fast-paced environment where the ability to influence and establish relationships is critical
- Quickly establish themselves as a credible strategic partner, bringing new high value ideas to the table
- Add structure and operational rigor to highly sophisticated, ambiguous, and cross-functional initiatives
- Clearly and concisely communicate ideas, concepts, and proposals to engage and excite team members and senior leaders
- Manage multiple concurrent programs with strong attention to detail and accountability to high standards of excellence
