About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Data Reporting and Business Intelligence Manager to join the Data team and lead the expansion of our data reporting and the tools that sit on top of it. This role will play a key part in building our semantic reporting layer and the transformation processes which power it. In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape our business analytic layer for years to come.
As part of a high-performing data team, you’ll collaborate with Enterprise, Finance, Marketing, Business Intelligence, Engineering, Data Science, Advanced Analytics, Legal & Compliance and other functions to build a world-class data dashboards along with the tooling that empowers stakeholders towards actionable insights while at the same time, it builds and maintains their trust in the reliability and accuracy of the underlying data.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain immutable enterprise reports and dashboards to serve as the cornerstone of organizational planning and operations
- Create and maintain the forecasting methodology and its implementation so that teams can glimpse into the future and adjust accordingly
- Develop an end-to-end roadmap in partnership with data platform to further our data supply chain from data lake to transformation and analytics layers that power reporting, insights, and operations
- Challenge existing structures and thought processes while raising the bar for data quality, engineering best practices, and measurement.
- Implement systems to catch bugs and monitor data quality, ensuring our production data remains accurate and available for key stakeholders
- Deliver projects on time and within budget
- Help define and champion GoodRx’s engineering culture
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in analytics, statistics, engineering, math, economics, computer science, information technology or related discipline
- 8+ years of experience in data analytics, reporting, and dimensional modeling, including expertise in designing, deploying, and maintaining complex data reportings & dashboards.
- Expert in design, develop, implement, and document dashboard and other data solutions using Looker or Tableau or similar technologies.
- Can easily communicate reporting concepts to a wide variety of audiences - from engineers to business stakeholders - and navigate between big-picture and functional metrics details.
- Proficiency writing advanced SQL (e.g. window functions, subqueries, complex joins).
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to imagine the perfect data structures to power any analysis.
- Manage daily operations of the reporting and business intelligence (BI) platform. Ensure high standards of data delivery and data accuracy.
- Collaborate with business owners to develop new functions / widgets on existing dashboards. Provides ad-hoc data extraction services and develops reports for team members.
- Analyze and consolidate diverse datasets.
- Manage the relationship with IT to ensure smooth operations of the analytics platform.
- Create functional & technical documentation related to Business Intelligence and reporting solutions.
- Coordinate with the IT data infrastructure team to diagnose reporting infrastructure issues and drive to resolution.
- Highly motivated, willing to take ownership of work and a drive to solve problems independently.
- Organized with clear communication and effective prioritization skills.

- Hands-on enterprise data analytics and/or product analytics experience
- Experience building data mart and business intelligence tooling for enterprise, finance and marketing organizations
- Experience with multiple transformation approaches
- Experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs)
