WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Help deliver and grow the CxO Data Advisory Practice
    • Work with EPAM practice leader to deliver CxO Data Strategy, Analytics Strategy, Data Governance, Monetization and Business Consulting service offerings
    • Knowledgeable of end-to-end go to market and delivery of service offerings in Enterprise Data and Analytics functions, Data Strategy development, Self Service Analytics, Data monetization, target operating model, and data governance offerings
    • Proactively develop expertise with best practices and trends across the relevant business and technology solutions that will contribute or drive our customers Enterprise Data and Analytics Strategy, Data Monetization, Self-Service Analytics, target operating and capability models, data governance and delivery
  • Qualify, lead and close customer pre-sales opportunities
    • Uncover details of prospect's business problems and objectives
    • Develop and deliver presentations addressing prospect's business problems, objectives, and requirements, typically using in-depth or experiential knowledge
    • Research to stay ahead in area of expertise - including understanding the current and future market, product and competitor landscape
    • Manage the sales proposal development process, responding to RFI's & RFP's
    • Respond (or coordinate response) to technical questions about the process or related architecture
    • Creating marketing materials and sales tools/assets, often in conjunction with marketing and product management
    • Business development efforts, including Statements of Work (SOW), proposal development, client presentations
    • Ideal Candidate: has prior management consulting experience and has delivered data related engagements
  • Deliver Value for EPAM Clients
    • Enable client business and technology leaders and their organizations to positively affect business outcomes by applying a holistic people, process and technology mindset to business alignment, technology strategy and technology tactics in the space of Advanced Analytics and Data Driven mindset
    • Partner with EPAM's client relationship owners to continually improve client and EPAM outcomes
    • Establish trusted advisor status by proactively capitalizing on opportunities to deepen client relationships
  • Architect, Sell Value-Added and Deliver Solutions
    • Initiate and maintain strong working relationships with EPAM sales leadership, account management and delivery teams to create distinct and valuable customer centric solutions
    • Work with sales and account management leadership to target clients with high potential to benefit from CxO Data Strategy Advisory Services, Advanced Analytics and Data Governance & Monetization Services and broader Business Consulting offerings
    • Engage with clients to understand their strategic challenge(s) and architect viable and value-added solutions that result in measurable business benefit
    • Identify additional opportunities to provide value-added services and work with Sales and Account Management to capitalize on these opportunities


REQUIREMENTS

  • Business & Technology Acumen
    • Understanding of general business operations and challenges in one or more domains\\industries, with the ability to map and align people, process and technology (specifically within Data and Analytics organizations) strategies and solutions to business goals in the enterprise business context
    • Passion and experience applying emerging technologies to identify and generate new business opportunities and address modern business challenges
    • Understanding of modern business models and technology strategies
    • Experience leading and managing technology-based consulting engagements and as a leader and/or as an external consultant with a good grasp of the expectations of and challenges faced by our client's technology leaders daily
  • IT/Technology & Data Product Leadership
    • Hands on experience understanding and applying latest Advanced Data and Analytics cloud based technology trends & innovation and how they can be applied for digital transformation and operational value creation
    • Working knowledge and application of best practice Information Management and Data Governance Frameworks such as CMMI, Stanford, DAMA or Gartner EIM
    • Strong understanding of customer data platforms and data products
    • Experience in data asset management, data product development & monetization
    • Build and delivery strategy articulation maps that align to strategic business initiatives
    • Build and execute data governance frameworks in support of self-service analytics and data monetization
    • Serve as a liaison between Business and Functional areas and technology to ensure that data related business requirements are clearly defined, communicated, well understood, and considered as part of operational prioritization and planning
    • Develop & maintain inventory of the enterprise information maps, including authoritative systems, owners
    • Define indicators of performance and quality metrics and adoption requirements
    • Make sure that standards and practices, comprising resources from the Business and Functional areas and IT business and operations functions, align with senior management and company goals; resolve issues escalated from Business and Functional areas
    • Coordinate external data sources to eliminate redundancy and streamline the expense related to those services
    • Identify new business opportunities pertaining to the use of information assets to achieve efficiency and effectiveness in the marketplace
    • Manage relationships across all business and functional areas
    • Working knowledge and experience in one or more cloud provider/solutions such as Snowflake, Microsoft Azure, AWS, and GCP
    • Working knowledge and experience in multiple Data and Analytics solutions and tools such as Hadoop, Apache Spark & Storm, Cassandra, Collibra, Talend, Informatica Spotfire, Tableau, PowerBI etc
    • Working Knowledge and application of Machine Learning and RPA
  • Organizational Design and Change Management Experience
    • Strong analytical skills with demonstrable experience architecting People, Process, Data and Technology strategies and solutions across multiple domains based on client needs
    • Experience in being a part of or applying structured organizational change management approaches across all facets of technology-related change
  • Technology Services Sales Experience
    • Experience leading and supporting pursuits in an environment comprised of a dedicated sales team, account relationship owners and delivery teams
  • Consulting Organization Leadership
    • Experience leading and growing teams either within an organization as an Consultant and/or Internal IT/Technology Leader
  • Passion for continuous learning and developing themselves
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver 1-2 Data Strategy engagements
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver 1-2 Data Governance programs
    • Knowledge of industry leading data quality and data protection management practices
    • Knowledge of data governance practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets and approaches related to data protection
    • Knowledge of data related government regulatory requirements and emerging trends and issues
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant field
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of progressively responsible experience in an internal Business\ echnology or technology consulting environment
