Position Overview

As part of the Campaign Strategy and Planning team, you will join a group that drives the strategic vision for Autodesk's demand generation campaigns, including development, delivery, and ongoing optimization. As an analyst, you will dive deep into our campaign and content performance data to uncover hidden insights and communicate recommendations for optimizing our campaign ecosystem to leadership and key stakeholders on an ongoing basis. You will drive the quarterly business review process that delivers strategic performance insights to leadership. And you will help synthesize reporting needs across the organization, working with our Marketing Operations team to deliver on these needs.

Responsibilities

  • Take business ownership of the campaign ecosystem performance analytics. Support industry & portfolio marketing leadership with reporting around the effectiveness of our campaign ecosystem across industries and the customer life cycle
  • Collaborate proactively and effectively with stakeholders across the organization to align on metrics and effectively measure campaign results. Identify any gaps in measurements and/or metrics, define the additional reports and analyses required and streamline existing reporting
  • Agree and document the scope and objectives for each reporting ask; deliver a variety of presentations in support of the objectives
  • Partner with the Marketing Operations Team (MOT) to deliver on reporting needs; prepare and distribute updates on the status of reporting projects to various audiences, including executive leadership and functional management
  • Liaise between business stakeholders and operations teams, following complex topics and deriving understanding of data implications and limitations. Translate and clarify key details for business stakeholders to ensure accurate understanding of the reporting insights
  • Assemble reporting for quarterly business reviews and other business report outs, working closely with execution teams across the organization to understand the trends that are driving the results
  • Conduct deep dives on a variety of topics to extract valuable new insights that enable leadership to drive improvements
  • Analyze and visualize data using tools as necessary to tell a concise and effective story that supports executive decision making
  • Evangelize findings, supporting marketers across the organization to understand the key metrics that are contributing to strategic leadership decisions
  • Research best practices and industry benchmarks in marketing and analytics; bring new frameworks and approaches to the reporting offerings provided to stakeholders
  • Keep abreast of new platforms and technologies that Autodesk is onboarding to help improve the operations of our analytics



Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of related experience, preferably in roles combining analytics, marketing and strategy; eCommerce experience a plus
  • Experience in measurement and metrics related to a subscription business strongly preferred
  • Strong communication skills and ability to turn data into a story for business & marketing stakeholders
  • Strong presentation skills with experience presenting to upper management
  • Strong understanding across the entire digital marketing ecosystem and related KPIs; Ability to speak to marketing platforms utilized by the company (Marketo, Salesforce, AEM, Sprinklr, etc) preferred
  • Expertise with email analytics, web analytics (Adobe), and social media analytics
  • Advanced experience with Excel (VLOOKUP, advanced formulas, pivot tables etc.) is expected, experience with macros and/or VBA is a plus
  • Experience in visualization tools like Power BI, Einstein Analytics, Looker etc.
  • Ability to succeed in a large, highly-collaborative, cross-functional organization; Self-starter with a positive "Can-do" attitude
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Stats, or a related field preferred. MBA preferred
