The Opportunity

Do you like to build tools and practices that bring cutting edge insights to customer's most critical business processes?

 

We are looking for dynamic, experienced individuals that are excited by the opportunity to lead Adobe Commerce's next generation of support automation, analysis, and tooling.

 

The Automation and Analytics Senior Manager will own and drive a product strategy that combines leading edge insights and collaborative findings with tools that improve our customer's E-Commerce experience. The value this role brings is through defining the vision and driving execution to bring those improvements to life. Through a well-defined product roadmap, and excellent multi-functional organizational skills, this role will enable increased value to existing customers, and develop critical features for Adobe Commerce's future!

 

This position requires a technical candidate, with a strong tooling/automation and machine learning/analytics background and proven strategic, operational, and leadership skills. The ideal employee is skilled in active listening, requirements gathering, and prioritization, has expertise in data analytics, monitoring and automation tool development, roadmap ownership, and has a high executive presence.

 

What you'll do

  • Integrate and build upon existing customer-facing tools and deep analytical processes.

  • Coordinate a cohesive roadmap that centralizes several functions into a single "pane of glass" for customer ease.

  • Determine relevancy and prioritize what information to display to customers and to internal Customer Engineering teams.

  • Use tools to support quick issue resolution or recommendations that improve site stability and performance.

  • Work with Certified Partners to progress their expertise and value to our merchants.

  • Continuously improve upon insights and enable new levels of automation and tooling!

 

What you need to succeed

  • 5+ years leading teams of professionals, helping them achieve business and personal goals, and providing mentorship and direction

  • 5+ years in Cloud and Support Automation and Cloud Native infrastructure maintenance or development, plus 5+ years in Analytics, Machine Learning, AI technologies

  • Experience in E-Commerce is a plus

  • Extensive experience working in complex enterprise IT environments in consulting, support, account management or development roles.

  • Ability to tackle sophisticated enterprise issues with solid grasp of web technologies (Linux, NGINX, Apache, MySQL, Redis, PHP), Linux CLI and shell scripting and web-application security vulnerabilities (i.e., PCI compliance concepts)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills is a must

  • Confirmed customer-facing skills to include running presentations and organizing and running high-profile customer calls and meetings

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
