Summary:
Automotive Analytics partners with both internal and external clients, and data providers, leveraging various analytics to drive strategic thought and effective decision making. The Sr. Manager is responsible for managing a small book of business and ensuring client satisfaction.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Responsible for delivery of a book-of-business of up to $250K or its equivalent annually
- Responsible for on-time, on-budget delivery of projects
- Ensure acceptable financial performance and client satisfaction
- Oversee all levels of staff to ensure adequate coverage and project delivery
- Manage client expectations of delivery and project signoff
- Provide strategic recommendations to clients based on analysis findings
- Explore and capitalize on opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell existing clients
- Responsible for new business development - collaborating with Sales and Client Services to assess prospective clients' needs and craft and present proposals that meet those needs
- Responsible for 1-3 direct reports - providing coaching, mentoring and professional development and ensuring adequate utilization levels
- Provide guidance to team members on relevant analytic techniques and applications
- Possess a working knowledge of the full range of analytic offerings in the Insider's Guide
- Gain command of the range of Epsilon's services - marketing services, database and data integration, data services, etc.
- Represent the company through industry speaking engagements and publications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master's degree in a quantitative discipline
- A minimum 8 years of experience in the marketing analytics field
- Some positions require a minimum of 5 years of experience conducting digital analytics
- A minimum of 3 years proven managerial or supervisory experience
- Proven experience managing and delivering a wide variety of analytic solutions to internal and external stakeholders
- Solid planning, priority setting, and project management skills with experience managing multiple projects and resources concurrently
- Proven experience influencing a business or marketing strategy through the application and/or management of advanced statistical techniques and data driven solutions
- Strong understanding of consumer behavior and marketing analytics
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and adept at developing relationships across diverse teams (including statistical, technical, and marketing resources)
- Ability to display data visually, creating powerful presentations which effectively demonstrate the value of analytic deliverables
- Highly motivated, collaborative, and innovative
- Strong technical skills
Desirable Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (Master's/PhD) in Statistics, Economics or other quantitative discipline
- Automotive marketing experience/knowledge
- Demonstrate superior leadership to the broader business and internal team
- Excellent coaching and mentoring skills
- Hands-on programming experience in SQL, R, Python, SAS, SPSS, or related application
- Experience with website tracking tools such as Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics
- Experience with email delivery and reporting tools such as Harmony or ExactTarget
- Familiarity with digital media tools (Dart, Atlas) or social media analytics tools (Facebook Insights, Twitter, and Pinterest Analytics)
- Experience with AWS, Snowflake, BigQuery, or other cloud data management platforms
