As a Senior Manager in the Analytics team, you will lead a team of highly skilled data engineers and analysts who deliver company wide analytics via data warehouse and analytics solutions. You will be responsible for leading the team that builds integrations amongst the various business systems, transform data sets, manage the data life cycle and provide trends and insights into our business. You will be advocating and building a self service data driven culture. You will be responsible for performing company-wide analytics initiatives to consistently use data, tools, and applications, for optimal business processing, adoption of data and critical decision making.

Who?

  • Extensive experience serving customers to drive business metrics using data and practical insights 
  • Extensive experience building and scaling analytics teams using big data, operational reporting, predictive intelligence and AI/ML technologies  
  • Experience forming relationships with key partners, developing long term analytics roadmaps and coaching leadership teams on analytics competencies development
  • 8+ years proven experience in leading and overseeing data initiatives, which require extensive collaboration across various business unit leaders
  • Experience in building and managing data warehouse systems, data models, system integration, ETL development, reporting & analysis.
  • 8+  years experience working in cloud environments like AWS and related data products
  • Have solid understanding in Presto, Redshift, Snowflake or related systems, apache spark or hadoop, python or other programming languages, 3rd party APIs and related integrations, reporting tools like Looker, Tableau etc.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, fosters and enables both individuals and teams to excel.

  • Complete the prioritized initiatives and align efforts to meet key objectives
  • Work with various partners and key business leaders to understand their data needs and provide solutions that will enable them in making data driven decisions 
  • Promote self service analytics culture via use of platforms and services 
  • Responsible for managing cross functional projects and timely deliverables 
  • Responsible for hiring, retaining and mentoring analysts and engineers
  • Mentor and coach junior analysts and engineers to grow in their careers 
  • Provides guidance and strategy to the team in the performance of their duties, establishing work priorities, and in achieving company initiatives
  • Act as a customer advocate and coach the team to provide highly consultative analytics recommendations to enable long term partners success

In accordance with applicable law, the following represents Twilio's reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role if hired in Colorado. Please note that this information is provided for those hired in Colorado only, and this role is open to candidates outside of Colorado as well. 


Salary:

Denver/Boulder Metro: $120,832.00-$151,040.00

Rest of Colorado: $105,728.00-$132,160.00.00

Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.
