Department Overview
The Openpath Supply Chain Team is looking for a new member to facilitate and drive our forward and reverse logistics pipeline, manage the overall delivery of our industry leading access control systems to our rapidly growing clientele. The role requires working closely with our Procurement team to improve the shipping and logistics process, and work with regional and international partners as we continue to expand into new markets. Attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and the ability to work unsupervised are a must. The ideal candidate will be familiar with manufacturing, order fulfillment, forward logistics, reverse logistics, supply chain management and have a strong desire to learn and grow with our organization.
Job Description
What you'll be doing

  • Manage and coordinate product movement from multiple vendors and distribution locations around the world

  • Managing all order fulfillment and shipping/distribution coordination with multiple 3PL partners, as well as general office shipping needs

  • Implementing interdepartmental feedback regarding shipping paperwork/labeling

  • Coordinate with support and sales regarding RMAs, and drive RMA process with engineering

  • Manage all shipping based procurement needs and operations

  • Liasioning with all local and international 3PLs and distributors

  • Assisting in research and implementation of international shipping protocols

  • Provide general interdepartmental operational support when needed

  • Actively manage and maintain inventory management system

  • Assist with supply and demand forecasting and manage supply constraints

What To Bring

  • Expertise in trade compliance, certifications preferred

  • 2+ years experience in shipping internationally

  • 2+ years experience with customs documentation (SLIs, CI, PL, etc)

  • Experience with HTS classification or working with a broker

  • Experience with exporting to high risk countries (ie. Israel, India, etc)

  • Results-oriented, dependable and accountable.

  • Experience in supply chain management and distribution

  • 2+ year background in returns merchandise authorization process

  • 2+ year background in distribution in either consumer or commercial space

  • Can operate in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

  • Highly organized, can juggle multiple competing priorities and tasks.

  • A strong communicator (verbal, written and interpersonal).

  • Experience working with 3PL and outsource vendors

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to improve processes
