Knowledge Services, a Fishers-based consulting and technology company, is currently hiring a career-minded Senior Information Security Analyst to join its growing Information Security team. In this role you will support the monitoring, analysis, and response to various types of security and compliance tasks, as well as provide technical security leadership for the company as a Subject Matter Expert. The Senior Information Security Analyst will monitor security solutions, respond to incidents accordingly, and drive the organization to utilize best practices all while being team-oriented and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with Knowledge Services stakeholders on security related topics
  • Compile security documentation for FedRAMP and StateRAMP programs using provided templates
  • Develop and implement security solutions aligned with industry best practices and frameworks (ISO, NIST, PCI, etc.) to meet business objectives and maintain compliance with legal and regulatory standards
  • Perform continuous monitoring activities
  • Coordinate the investigation of cyber security events
  • Assess emerging threats and recommend appropriate actions to ensure continued confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company data
  • Support Project teams in defining and verifying information security control requirements during design, development, and implementation of information systems
  • Provide consulting to management and Knowledge Services business units on Information Security related issues and initiatives
  • Provide recommendations to address identified gaps and work closely with IT or Knowledge Services business units to create corrective action and risk remediation plans
  • Develop proper response to security audits and resolve issues found
  • Offer design recommendations to improve security posture and efficiency
  • Identify and report the sources of misuse of company resources
  • Stay current on security trends, news, and best practices



Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in Information Security or equivalent work experience
  • Experience writing professional level documentation covering topics related to IT Security, including system security plans, disaster recovery plans, audit finding responses, etc.
  • Excellent customer facing communication skills (both written and verbal) with groups of various technical knowledge
  • Experience in multiple cloud environments, including Azure, Google, and AWS
  • Experience in differing levels of the technology hosting stack, IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
  • Experience in security frameworks and standards including NIST SP 800-53/800-171, ISO 27000 series, HIPAA, PCI, SOC 2, MARS-E 2.0, etc.
  • Ability to conduct information security risk assessments and recommend solutions
  • Ability to balance team collaboration with independent responsibilities
