The Opportunity:
We’re building the Compensation function within the People team to scale and support one of the fastest growing companies in tech. We're top 50 on Deloitte's Fast 500 list, experiencing tremendous growth worldwide, and you will be key to incentivizing and rewarding employees on this exciting path.
You Will:
Represent the compensation function as the advisor to our corporate and technical support groups
Manage a portfolio of global compensation projects including compensation planning cycles, market intelligence and benchmarking, and competitive analysis
Collaborate with People Business Partners (PBPs) and centers of expertise (CoE) to support and advise managers on compensation-related activities
Conduct market pricing activities including job matching, data analytics, and job pricing, including analysis of cash and long-term incentive compensation practices
Lead the development and distribution of effective communication materials for your groups to improve their understanding of Datadog’s compensation offerings
You Are:
Eight years or more of compensation or related experience
Strong business acumen, attention to detail, and analytically driven
Experience leading efforts around market pricing, annual compensation cycles, compensation plan/structure design
Expertise in using Radford and other data sources for benchmarking compensation
A good understanding of RSUs and other equity offerings
A “Roll up your sleeves” mentality; this is a leadership position, but you will still be required to create files and work with data directly
The ability to consult and influence leaders and colleagues
Strong communication skills that enable you to take complex concepts and distill them into digestible information for leaders and employees
Bonus Points:
Experience building and running compensation programs at a recent IPO company
Advanced capabilities in both Excel and Google Sheets
