How You'll Help Us Connect The World

Act as a partner with the Business and IT for the discovery and translation of business needs and build trust, goodwill, and confidence between IT and the business. The analyst should provide domain expertise for technical designs that meet the business requirements and support the IT strategy which provides the best value for CommScope. Specific disciplines include Supply Chain/Operations
Responsibilities Include
  • Understands Supply chain manufacturing business processes and helps develop the business overall goal when a technical solution is required.
  • Works with the business community to understand their needs, recommends areas of improvement.
  • Translates detailed business requirements into functional design specifications including documentation and process flows.
  • Ensures that proposed processes, products, and/or services optimally integrate with or replace existing processes, products, and/or services to achieve an improved result.
  • Configure SAP S4 Manufacturing and SCM processes to support business process requirements. Participate in design reviews and business model matching sessions. Design SAP solutions for identified gaps in functionality and business process
  • Resolve SAP/Manufacturing systems issues resulting from user error, incomplete system setup or systems bugs.
  • Develop test plans and protocols for the evaluation of system performance.
  • Collaborate with other IT and functional area personnel on routine and major system upgrades activity.
  • Train user personnel in the conversion and implementation of the system.
  • Ensures configuration, programming teamwork, and meeting design specifications.
  • Communicate, promote and, supports creative thinking among business and technical groups and keep abreast of industry trends in the business and technology.
Required Qualifications
  • A completed bachelor's degree required, Engineering or Information systems
  • 6 to 8 years of experience as an Analyst with a focus on Manufacturing with a good understanding of processes in Plant Maintenance, Procurement, Planning, Quality, Data Management, etc
  • 3 to 5 yrs experience in SAP, preferable experience in S4 - PP, MM, QM, PM, MES/MII, and exposure to new technology solutions ex - IoT, Cloud Analytics in Supply Chain area's a plus.
  • 3 years of plus End to end life cycle project delivery experience

  • Able to simultaneously handle a large number of diverse initiatives relying heavily on own initiative.
  • Social skills are sufficient for frequent interaction with internal customers, third-party solution providers, implementation partners under conditions which will reach high levels of intensity.
  • Ability to communicate meaningfully with all levels of personnel in the organization.
  • Able to efficiently present information in one-on-one, small and large group situations to all levels of the organization
  • Superb communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work well in a collaborative team environment
