Senior Analytics Engineer

Analytic Insights & Reporting Department // NYC + CT + Austin, Tx + Dallas, Tx + Remote

How will this role have an impact?

You will work with a team of engineers, designers, and product experts to build a next generation analytics platform leveraging modern development frameworks, and cloud-based services.  We’re designing a brand new platform that aims to directly deliver analytic insights and recommendations to both internal, and external healthcare partners. You will work on a team that builds tools that will directly influence savings and actionable insights for Signify Health, it’s customers, and ultimately healthcare consumers.

We aim to bring a full stack mentality and capability to bear on the problems we work on: from comprehending both internal and external stakeholder needs, leading active wire-framing collaborations, building intuitive user interfaces, standing up data pipelines, and building robust data APIs. We value listening deliberately and communicating clearly with the audience in mind.

Required:

• 3+ years of full stack development experience
• Fluent in Javascript and the React framework
• Experience/understanding of both OOP and functional language constructs / design
• Experience developing/using GraphQL and RESTFul API services
• Experience with both NoSQL, and SQL databases (understand relational, and non-relational data – can craft queries)
• Docker / developing containerized services
• Experience developing on AWS, or other cloud-based providers
• Experience using standard version control systems, such as GIT
• Experience with both “Strong” typed, and “Weak” typed languages (TypeScript a bonus)
• Willingness to learn, and adapt to different languages / frameworks as required

Nice to have:

• Experience / fluent in TypeScript, Kotlin, Python, Golang, or Clojure
• Experience building ETL / data pipelines
• Experience developing / working with data on Redshift and Snowflake

• B.S. or higher in a quantitative, healthcare or economic discipline.

Extra Credit:

• Experience with various types of healthcare data: claims, value based, quality, provider relationships or fee for service reimbursements
• Experience working within the Agile framework / scrum teams
