Our Opportunity:

The Chewy E-Commerce Analytics team is looking for an experienced Senior E-Commerce Analyst to join our team in Bellevue, WA, or Boston, MA. In this role, you’ll partner with product teams, help the E-Commerce org improve conversion rates and customer experience, build a best in class E-Commerce experience, measure our impact, and prioritize the right work through analysis, reporting/dash-boarding, experimentation, and tagging.

What You’ll Do:

• Closely examine customer traffic, browsing, and purchase behaviors by developing the deepest understanding of the customer experience. From there, you’ll provide actionable recommendations to teammates and leaders
• Use available tools (Google Analytics, BigQuery, SQL, Tableau, etc.) and data to construct, maintain, distribute and enhance dashboards and reporting
• Ensure analytics implementation provides crystal-clear visibility into the impact and value of new features and functionality
• Provide ad hoc analyses to gain additional insights into customer behavior and assist in prioritization
• Recommend and help run and analyze A/B tests on new features/content
• Independently gather requirements for new and more efficient data sources and partner with data engineering teams to enhance data infrastructure
• Analyze and summarize the results of advanced analytics outputs to clearly describe past performance and predict future consumer trends in both verbal and written form

What You’ll Need:

• You’ve worked in E-commerce or the digital analytics field at an online retailer or digital agency or equivalent experience
• Deep experience working with clickstream analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.)
• Proven ability to perform in-depth analysis, synthesize results, report and present strategies and make recommendations to business and technical audiences
• Motivated self-starter, comfortable operating in a highly ambiguous environment with little direction 
• You have a deep understanding of web analytics code, experience working with developers to define requirements, & you can implement code & validate data
• You’re an Excel guru. You can manipulate data, you’re a wiz with advanced formulas & you can build a macro like it’s nothing
• You have experience writing and tuning SQL queries and knowledge of relational databases (we’ll quiz you on this!) 
• Exemplary stakeholder management and prioritization skills using systems, processes, and scalable frameworks
• Proven experience delivering large scale analytics initiatives on tight timelines
• Strong data visualization skills using software such as Tableau or complementary visualization tools
• Position may require travel

Bonus:

• Experience with Tableau (or similar data visualization tools), A/B testing, SEO/SEM, digital marketing 
• Bachelor’s, Master’s or advanced degree in a quantitative, marketing or technical field 
• Advanced technical skills using R, Python, or other programming languages
• Familiarity with A/B testing
