Job Description:
Position Summary
Lead a development team and interacting with 50+ business partners across GWIM and Consumer digital data user community. Works with Senior Product Owner and with Senior LOB partners to field incoming requests into the team, ensuring proper prioritization and utilization of internal development resources, as well as any external partners that might need to be consulted. User community consists of members from Digital Analytics, Digital Reporting, Digital Marketing, Digital Sales, and Product Analytics. Will play a key role in migrating from our legacy digital data sources to future state data environment. Responsible for maximizing the value for digital data. Defines the vision and roadmap for the data, and articulating this to both stakeholders and the development team. Candidate should be a n experienced manager responsible for building and leading a team to deliver data/information products and services that meet business outcomes. Primary responsibility is people management, ensuring development through coaching, mentoring, feedback, and hands-on career development. Creates the technology strategy, ensuring technology solutions comply with enterprise data management standards, global records management standards, and data quality and control practices for authorized data sources. Advocates and advances modern, Agile solution delivery practices, great design, engineering and organizational practices. Accountable for team/program level resource and financial management; builds and maintains teams through talent acquisition. Sets maturity objectives and enables individuals/teams to with training & resources to achieve them. Sets and tracks quality and performance objectives. Manages development resources and support focused on Hadoop-based data management and alignment to fit-for-use purposes inclusive of advanced BI capabilities. This includes analytics for digital channel performance. Facilitates performance and career development of individuals through performance reviews, coaching, and building individual development plans that are needed to develop competencies and skills. Understands individual and team maturity and performance through team/client feedback. Manages relationships with the business and technology leaders, and vendors for technical products. Accountable for data/information solution delivery as relevant to their teams e.g. prioritizing tech debt, compliance and security items, and supporting audits. Ensures all relevant risk, financial, and compliance polices and standards are met. Accountable for the application performance in production (app health, resiliency, performance, security, enterprise data management standards, global records management standards, audit exams and reviews). Creates the technology strategy for their technical domain. Ensures that execution is aligned with product strategy by working with Product Management, Product Owners, and other stakeholders. Creates an inclusive and healthy working environment, and helps to resolve organizational impediments/blockers. Leads and creates followership in Communities of Practice in the organization.
Required Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent working experience.
  • Certifications in Agile methodology and leading Agile teams.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office suite software skills (Excel, Access, SharePoint).
  • 5-7+ years' experience as a business analyst or project manager.
  • 3+ years of advanced SQL experience and understanding of relational databases.
  • Experience with common ETL development tools (SSIS, Informatica, etc).
  • Past development experience on RDBMS platforms (T-SQL, PL/SQL).
  • Exposure to Hadoop and related technologies. (Hive, Impala, Spark (Python or Scala)
  • Experience with design and architecture of Data Warehouse systems.
  • Understands the difference between Normalized and De-Normalized structures and the ideal use-cases for each approach.
  • Familiar with code repository tools like TFS and BitBucket.
  • Exposure to code deployment tools like Ansible.
  • Experience with writing and maintaining technical documentation. (Development Standards, Entity Relationship Diagrams, Process Flows, Technical Recovery Plans, etc)
  • Experience managing development resources.
  • Must have a working knowledge of Agile software delivery practices.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational and planning capabilities.
  • Requires exceptional organizational skills, problem solving, attention to detail and timeline management.


Desired Skills

  • 3+ years of service in the financial industry with reporting and project management experience.
  • Prior experience managing an AIT and familiarity with AppHQ.
  • Familiar with the Bank's change management process and MRA2 requirements (Material and Non-Material Change).
  • Well versed on ARM and the responsibilities associated with Service ID and AD Group ownership.
  • Experienced with JIRA and how it's used within the Agile Software Development Framework.
  • Familiar with PMMT and PCM for managing resource forecasts.
  • Ability to gather high-level requirements and provide accurate estimates (both time and cost) for new projects.
  • Experience with Oracle, Tableau, Teradata, Autosys, Informatica, and Data Management tools.
  • Knowledge of Global Technology, Enterprise Data Management & Enterprise Data Architecture programs, strategies and standards.
  • Knowledge of Atlassian products, particularly Jira and Confluence.
  • Product management experience or similar demonstrated success in delivering solutions with competing stakeholder needs.
