Job Description:
Position Summary
The Credit Assistance Technology Data Team is looking for a senior data analyst to support multiple initiatives and strategies. Process design, data analytics, critical problem solver, and project management resource to support multiple projects supporting decisioning, reporting, and analytics initiatives. Will lead high visibility efforts, and have impact related to ongoing modernization of data platforms. Interacts with business and technology teams to identify, research, analyze and resolve complex data related asks. This position is a key member of the team and the individual will be responsible for multiple, simultaneous efforts; utilizing analytical and technical skills to execute assigned responsibilities.
Required Skills

  • Analytical Thinking
  • DBMS
  • 7-10 years of IT experience.
  • 5-7 years of data analysis experience.
  • Proven experience designing data objects (tables, views, partitioning, keys, indexes, etc)
  • Proven experience capturing and documenting quality metadata, both physical and business.
  • Understanding of data security classifications.
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical data requirements for developers.
  • Ability to document data process flows
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems quickly and communicate proposed solutions
  • Ability to provide coaching to other data analysts across multiple teams

  • Experience with RDBMS, especially MS SQL Server

Desired Skills

  • Experience working with data in Hadoop, including designing tables and ETL processes.
