Meet the team:

The Data Science team is providing data exploration and analysis for the entire organization including Testing Operations, Hardware, Software, Management, and Product teams. We analyze data needed to provide actionable insights, draw conclusions from the data, and support data driven decision making at Argo AI. We are hiring experienced Data Scientists to work in high visibility roles that provide the opportunity to learn about, interact with, and add significant value to every part of our company.

What you’ll do: 

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify their needs and provide data-driven solutions
• Apply statistical methods to support high-quality and meaningful data analyses
• Leverage data to drive and optimize engineering processes at Argo AI
• Help define and promote Data Science strategy and best practices
• Work with modern cloud, big data, and analytics technologies
• Own initiatives from inception to implementation

What you'll need to succeed:

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or a related field
• At least 3-years of relevant working experiences as a Data Scientist
• Significant experience applying statistical methods to data analysis and modeling. This includes construction of confidence intervals, prediction intervals, and advanced regression analyses
• Understanding of engineering and testing processes in autonomous driving development is a plus
• Experience working with SQL and NoSQL database technologies
• Experience working with Data Warehouses like Redshift, BigQuery, or Snowflake
• Proficiency analyzing data with Python (or R)
• Strong team player that can collaborate effectively with customers and other teams
• Strong presentation and communication skills

Our Background:

Argo AI was founded in late 2016 by industry experts with extensive experience building robotic systems for commercial applications.
