Who You'll Work With
As a Senior Data Scientist at QuantumBlack, you will be based in one of our offices in North America, and work in close collaboration with the Growth, Marketing & Sales practice, other data scientists, data engineers, machine learning engineers, designers, and project managers on interdisciplinary projects. You will use math, statistics, and machine learning to derive structure and knowledge from raw data across various industry sectors, with an emphasis on Growth, Marketing & Sales.
The Growth, Marketing & Sales practice strives to help clients in both consumer and business-to-business environments on a wide variety of marketing and sales topics. Our clients benefit from our experience in core areas of marketing such as branding, customer insights, marketing ROI, digital marketing, CLM, pricing, and sales and channel management. Qualifications

• MSc or Ph.D. in computer science, machine learning, applied statistics or mathematics
• 5+ years of professional experience driving sales excellence and using analytics to advance commercial outcomes
• Experience in statistical modeling and machine learning techniques
• Programming experience in at least two of the following languages: R, Python, Scala, SQL
• Experience in applying data science methods to broad marketing & sales business problems
• Experience in applying advanced analytical and statistical methods in the commercial world
• Good presentation and communication skills with the ability to explain complex analytical concepts to people from other fields
