Equifax has an exciting opportunity for a Site Reliability Engineer to join our Data & Analytics team supporting the Workforce Solutions business unit, helping to mature its DevSecOps capabilities. The Site Reliability Engineer will be responsible for the performance and reliability of our data storage and processing infrastructure. You will work with our team of data engineers and data analysts to implement and operate our large-scale, cloud-based analytics platform. Your focus is to take care of the databases, data pipelines, deployments, and availability of these systems. You will support the systems necessary for our Data Engineers and Data Analysts to do their job.

What you'll do

  • You will actively participate in the infrastructure design and scalability considerations of our analytics platform, focused on data storage.
  • You will provide assistance and support to other teams focused on database and database related application methodologies and system resources.
  • You will monitor the performance and reliability of our data storage and data analytics systems and recommend performance and reliability opportunities.
  • You will maintain infrastructure reliability for data pipelines and additional Big Data processing systems.
  • You will work with our security and deployment teams to upgrade our systems and implementations as necessary.



What experience you need

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 3+ years' experience with Terraflow (other IaC tools may be acceptable), Git, Jenkins and Helm.
  • 4+ years of experience developing, monitoring, and optimizing cloud-based data solutions.
  • Knowledge of IP networking , VPN's , DNS , Load Balancing and Firewall.
