Role Overview

In this position you will help solve data-driven engineering problems and work with industry-leading experts in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment and actively build your skills while driving business value at top enterprises. You will have access to first-class cloud computing resources and have the opportunity to learn from our broader data science community. 

What you need to have 

• 7+ years experience building data technology solutions
• Business Intelligence Platform experience: Domo, Power BI, Tableau CRM or others
• Experience in one or more cloud solutions: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc. 
• Python & SQL programming experience
• Data integration tool experience: Python Scripts, AWS Glue, Data Flow, Talend, etc.
• Cloud data warehouse services experience: Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or Athena
• Expertise with at least one of the following database technologies and familiarity with the others: relational, columnar and NoSQL (i.e. MySQL, Oracle, MSSQL, Vertica, mongodb)
• Understanding of data modeling skills (i.e. conceptual, logical and physical model design - with both traditional 3rd normal form as well as dimensional modeling, such as star and snowflake)

• Must be in the United States.

 What you’ll be doing 

• Manage work across multiple clients or large, cross-functional engagements.
• Articulate challenges, identify solutions, and effectively manage delivery for client engagements.
• Lead business development activities, including client pitches, estimating work and creating project plans.
• Create trusted partnerships with clients in order to consistently extend and expand our business relationships.
• Align people to tasks and opportunities that drive the team to the right solutions for our clients.    
• Coach and lead others in order to resolve conflicts and increase collaboration.

What you need to achieve 

• Delivering data engineering solutions on 3 to 5 client projects within first 12 months
• New certification  in one or more data technology (e.g. AWS Big Data, Azure Data Engineer, Einstein Analytics, etc.)
• Presenting  solution ideas, new technology demo, or creating a blog post to an internal or external audience

Location: Atlanta, GA office, Cleveland, OH office, or remote in the US
