ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY:

 

You will be part of the Enterprise Data Management and Data Governance team, reporting to the Senior Manager EDM & EDG. You will be responsible for development, maintenance and training delivery for Data Integration, Business Intelligence, Data Governance and Data Quality solutions.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Be the technical/tool expert for DI, DG and DQ solutions within the team
  • Actively participate in all aspects of the project development life cycle – that is requirements identification, design/analysis, effort estimation/planning, task prioritization, development, performance, scalability, best practices, and testing
  • Participate in data modeling and architecting data management solutions, with sound knowledge of SQL, Talend, Snowflake and Python
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Data & Analytics architects and development team members, to establish common development standards, ensuring compliance with Talend IT/Security standards
  • Perform data analysis and profiling tasks – including compiling DQ results, developing remediation recipes, TDS campaigns etc.
  • Solution development activities including DQ Dashboard development, EDW-DG framework integration – including partnering with other Enterprise Data & Analytics functions
  • Customize and integrate DG tool suite with Talend-wide up/downstream systems
  • Develop and deliver training to support technical enablement of data org stakeholders (including data owners and data stewards) and support adoption of EDM/EDG solutions
  • Maintain proper documentation of developed solutions, with a well-defined change control and deployment process to ensure compliance with SDLC practices
  • Collaborate with internal Support, Product and R&D teams to address any product challenges, while also providing product improvement feedback
  • Able to effectively manage multiple activities, while ensuring timely delivery to business
  • Capability to quickly learn and adopt new tools/technologies

ABOUT YOU:

  • BA/BS degree in Software Engineering, Information Management Systems, or a related field
  • 5+ years of building Data Management solutions – including Relational Databases, BI/Reporting, ETL processes and data quality management
  • 3+ years of hands-on working experience with Talend products – that is Studio, Data Catalog, Data Preparation and Data Stewardship. Talend certification will be a plus
  • Excellent working knowledge and hands-on experience with Snowflake
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience writing complex queries
  • Good knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS/Azure), databases, Java/scripting, and REST APIs
  • Knowledge of other industry leading Data Integration, Data Quality and Data Governance tools
  • Good team player, along with strong relationship building skills
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills

For Colorado-based candidates: The range for this role for any candidates based in Colorado will be $98,400 – 123,000. In addition to your base salary, you will also be offered a 10% bonus, and benefits.
