ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY:

 

You will be joining the Enterprise Data Management team for delivery of the Cloud Data Warehouse System, Data Model, Database, Reporting, ETL processes and complex Business Intelligence Solutions. In this role, you will work closely with Business Intelligence Champions, Strategic Finance, Sales, People Systems and R&D. You will need to follow current trends, their impact on business strategies, and their implications for creating sustainable data warehouse architecture. Have to operate in a rapidly evolving environment, adapting quickly to new information and re-prioritizing as needed. Guide cross-functional team to define and promote best practices and data warehouse design principles, and to create an effective data governance framework.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in all aspects of project development life cycle such as identifying requirements, design, feasibility analysis, allocating timelines, task prioritization, development, performance, scalability, best practices, and testing.
  • Responsible for architecting our data processing applications and reporting systems through Python, SQL, Talend Integration, Snowflake Data Warehouse and Tableau.
  • Hands-on experience in data modeling, data visualization, and pipeline design & development.
  • Develop ETL packages, ensuring that best practices are implemented for data governance, data quality, data cleansing.
  • Experience in day-to-day support and maintenance of the data warehouse environment, reports, data integration jobs and job schedules.
  • Drive optimal data processing architecture and systems for new data and ETL pipelines and drive the recommendation for improvements and modifications to existing data and ETL pipelines.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define business logic for source-to-target mappings and integration workflows.
  • Development of scalable, modular, and robust ETL routines, using ETL tools and external programming/scripting languages as necessary.
  • Drive internal process improvements and automating manual processes for data quality and SLA management.
  • Analyze extremely large data sets to identify, evaluate and prioritize new opportunities to grow and optimize the business through analytics and data modeling.
  • Assist in production support by resolving source data issues and refining transformation rules when needed.
  • Maintain the existing Snowflake data warehouse and facilitate aggregation, slicing and dicing of data using Tableau.
  • Design and develop data extraction SQL queries in Tableau that are highly optimized for very large data sets.
  • Creating and maintaining the company data dictionary as well as technical documentation for source-to-target mapping.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Data-driven individual with a strong business acumen and focus on analytical problem solving, data manipulation and management skills.
  • 8+ years of work experience in Business Intelligence, Relational Database, Reporting and ETL processes.
  • 5+ years of experience in Tableau and in Python coding.
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience writing complex queries.
  • Advanced data visualization skills show the ability to tell stories and make dashboards actionable.
  • Able to effectively lead and manage multiple processes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master's in engineering is strongly preferred.

For Colorado-based candidates: The range for this role for any candidates based in Colorado will be $98,400 – 123,000. In addition to your base salary, you will also be offered a 10% bonus, and benefits.
