What’s needed in order to do that:

  • The Sr. Data Engineer will have oversight around the design, documentation, prototyping of new integration approaches and implementation of scalable data integration solutions. This role will collaborate, provide mentorship, best practices, and standards to the development partners that support the delivery of data integration. The Sr. Data Engineer will be heavily involved in architecture foundations including but not limited to job scheduling utilities, rapid development frameworks, and integration refactoring.
  • Analyze data and technical problems to design innovative data integration solutions.
  • Provide guidance and mentor the team on the development standards and methods.
  • Own technical design for complex subject area development.
  • Review, as well as approve, designs and solutions that are delivered by our delivery partners.
  • Identify and recommend appropriate continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Be involved in implementation of data solution architecture foundations including but not limited to job scheduling utilities, rapid development frameworks, and integration refactoring.

  • Proficient in event driven data movement utilizing various tools such as AWS Lambda Functions (Python), AWS Step Functions, AWS SNS, AWS SQS, Informatica Cloud Real Time (ICRT).
  • Proficient in scripting languages of Python and PowerShell and the ability to debug code that was developed by others.
  • 2+ years of experience with Snowflake Cloud Datawarehouse.
  • Proficient with structured query language and possess the ability to understand and create SQL statements that are complex in nature with multiple joins, nested subqueries, window functions.
  • 2 + years of experience in popular cloud offerings such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.
  •  5+ years of experience with ETL tools such as Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), SSIS, Talend and possess the ability to perform performance tuning.
  • 5+ years of experience with varying relational database management systems such as Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business process, user centric environments, including analysis, solution design/build.
  • Knowledge relating to technology, integration, user requirement definitions, analysis, and implementation.
  • Technical leader that can drive discussions with both business and technical teams.
  • Knowledge of relevant technology market trends.
  • Ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment.
  • Able to work Remotely.
  • Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.

Hiring Salary Range of: $110,000-$140,000. Salary and whole compensation package (bonus target) to be determined by the candidate’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
