You will work in support and migration of enterprise data and business intelligence platforms onto the cloud to help accelerate the firm's cloud-first transformation.
What You'll Do
You will be responsible for working in the support and migration of enterprise data & business intelligence platforms onto the cloud to help accelerate the firm's cloud-first transformation.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing innovative business intelligence & data engineering solutions to integrate across on-premises and SaaS ecosystems. You will work with a team of BI & data engineers that works across the global hubs to build target state platforms and migrate existing applications and products.
You will also be part of an effort to build next-gen data & business intelligence platforms on the cloud to enable our Enterprise colleagues with rapid data access and incubate emerging technologies.
You will be building data pipelines in data wrangling tools like Knime, Alteryx, Alteryx as the admin, Informatica Power Center, other cloud-based data wrangling platforms like AWS Glue.
Other responsibilities:
Migration analysis to move data wrangling pipelines from legacy/on prem platforms to newer cloud-based platforms.
Evaluate and compare new data wrangling tools constantly appearing the market.
Manage business intelligence tools (Tableau Online, Power BI) platforms as the admin.
Design and implement reports, dashboards, and scorecards for data validation and data quality monitoring in Tableau or Microsoft Power BI, or other BI tools.

You will join our Waltham or Atlanta office and be a part of our One Firm Tech-Cloud Data & Analytics team.
You will work with product managers, software engineers, architects and various platform teams. You'll be part of a team responsible for delivering technology enabled solutions of the future. You will be involved in all business value chain activities from understanding product needs to product development to on-going maintenance and enhancement.
Our vision & mission of the Cloud Data and Analytics (CDA) group is to give our firm colleagues the ability to generate valuable insights through a scalable, highly responsive and value driven data and analytics framework. We will achieve that by moving all our data and processes into Cloud.
CDA has several complementary teams working on various facets of delivering Cloud services.
We offer the firm an enterprise data strategy focused on understanding our data:
How to use DevOps services and processes to work with that data, running real time analytics
How to correct and clean data and keep it that way
How to identify new, innovative ways to work with that data, anonymize data, and experiment with that data all within an Agile, customer delight, with personalized solution, in a rapidly evolving team environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in business related or technology related field
  • 5+ years of IT experience
  • 2+ years in business intelligence and data engineering
  • Experience building & migrating reports and dashboards in one or more of the BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, Qlik., and tasks like migration analysis to move reports from legacy/on prem platforms to newer platforms
  • Experience building data & migrating pipelines in data wrangling tools like Alteryx, Informatica Power Center, and tasks like migration analysis to move data pipelines from legacy/on prem platforms to newer platforms
  • Design and implement reports, dashboards, and scorecards for data validation and data quality monitoring in Tableau or Microsoft Power BI, or other BI tools
  • Be tool agnostic, with newer tools being launched each year, can quickly learn and adopt new and better data wrangling, ETL and BI tools
  • Relevant certifications in Tableau, Power BI preferred
  • Experience in implementing effective and successful Cloud based Data Migration and Data Integration strategies
  • Experience building data pipelines for enterprise-grade data and analytics platforms that are highly scalable, compliant and secure with robust data quality, data governance, data discovery, catalog and visualization capabilities
