About the Role

In this role you will be part of the Revenue Analytics team and play a key role in defining, building and advancing Highspot’s go-to-market strategy. Your mission will be to deliver quantitative analysis, decision support and reporting artifacts on a broad range of business topics. This requires the ability to identify the appropriate data sources, assess their usefulness, consolidate the required attributes, and derive meaningful information and insights. The focus goes beyond creating reports and pulling data – it is to tackle complex business problems, build compelling data-driven stories and become a trusted business advisor to a variety of cross functional stakeholders.

We are looking for a dynamic, versatile Sales analytics professional who can define end-to-end analytics solutions, easily pivot between strategy and execution, and be passionate about learning and developing at the pace of our rapidly growing business. 



What You'll Do

  • As Sr. Data Analytics Manager, Sales you will define Sales analytics methodology and self-service capabilities, lead their build out as well as deliver ad-hoc research to cross-functional stakeholders. Specific focus areas will include customer insights, sales funnel performance, rep performance, growth tends, forecasting, etc. To do this effectively you will
  • Your responsibilities include:

  • Deliver accurate and impactful analysis based on solid understanding of data sources and business needs, including economic, financial, and statistical analysis 
  • Translate business questions into, analytic hypotheses, data needs and reporting requirements 
  • Define data collection requirements (attributes, format, structure) and represent them during the data warehouse and software engineering projects 
  • Clearly and concisely present strategic and tactical recommendations; develop compelling presentations for both internal and external customers 
  • Partner with senior business leaders on solving complex business challenges and provide relevant data-driven insights 
  • Develop analytical models to estimate the impact of different scenarios, assisting in the business decision making process 
  • Design, develop and maintain compelling, accurate, and reliable analytical reports 
  • Become a trusted advisor to key go-to-market stakeholders and provide ad-hoc reporting, data extracts, and analyses
  • The Ideal Candidate

  • Be able to synthesize business scenarios into meaningful actionable Analytics and Reporting requirements 
  • Use technical skills and knowledge to identify, collect and evaluate data, required for analyses 
  • Have strong practical experience building and delivering (via reporting solutions, storytelling and formal presentations) quantitative research and business reporting solutions 
  • Be a leader, mentor and sponsor to more junior team members
  • Be self-motivated, able to deal with ambiguity, and work well under pressure to meet deadlines within short time constraints 

Your Background

  • 5+ years of experience in operations, analytics, strategy within a SaaS company. 
  • Experience partnering with different go-to-market teams, ideally, marketing, pre, and post-sales.
  • Ability to cover a range of activities; from C-level presentations to hands-on, data deep-dives with other analysts.
  • Ability to create a performance- and metrics-focused culture.
  • A very thorough understanding of traditional B2B sales, Account-based Sales, pipeline management, and forecasting.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to summarize and visualize complex analyses that tell a compelling story.
  • Experience working with IT and Data Warehousing teams to ensure the infrastructure supports the needs of Revenue Operations. 
  • Experience developing customer segmentation and journey maps in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Expertise with Tableau, Salesforce, and SQL.
