As an Analytics Engineer in the Data and Analytics team, you will be working with traders and desk analysts to provide data and analytics support and solutions across our commodities and global markets business in the Americas.
You will work directly with our business, developing data analytics capabilities and solutions within, identifying use cases and running pilot engagements to give our business the support and confidence they need to adopt data analytics platforms and approaches. You will be passionate about developing communities of practice across our business, bringing people together to understand the potential of data and analytics and adopting best practices.
At a technical level you'll be working largely with AWS cloud and analytics platforms such as Redshift, Dataiku, Spotfire and Alation, with exposure to opensource technologies such as Presto and Airflow. You will be enthusiastic about the use and adoption of these capabilities, focused on user experience and ensuring our business see real value from the technical deliveries.
Exposure to financial and energy markets would be a significant bonus
