Position Summary
Solutran is seeking an individual with a passion for data and leveraging it to create material value for the organization. This individual is someone who has a high-performance caliber mindset, delivering meaningful results while playing a critical role of linking business objectives to core business processes. They will be comfortable bringing forward innovative ideas and fostering a continuous improvement culture.
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis and Monitoring
    • Perform regular, detailed analysis of historical business data, such as call volume and transaction data
    • Analyze engagement and utilization trends
    • Collect data from various databases and other sources
    • Provide clear and concise trending and statistical reporting of key metrics such as service level, occupancy, and AHT
    • Conduct intraday data and metric monitoring, detect inventory and performance issues, and immediately communicate concerning trends and anomalies to support our Operations partners in achieving service levels and business objectives
    • Review and evaluate daily, weekly, and monthly performance to detect trend and outlier concerns negatively impacting, or with the potential to negatively impact, Operations' ability to meet their inventory targets, service levels, and financial targets including managing/meeting performance guarantees and budget
  • Forecasting
    • Develop analytical models to aid in short and long-term forecasts
    • Create and maintain detailed long-term forecasts
    • Identify potential future events, business trends, or other variables that could impact forecasts
  • Collaboration
    • Meet with stakeholders to gather and align on all relevant assumptions for planning
    • Collaborate with Finance to provide financial inputs
    • Work with external partners
    • Daily work direction and production expectations through effective agendas, daily workforce/operations inventory meetings, and post-call summary communications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Statistics, Finance, or other quantitative disciplines
  • 3+ years of experience translating analytics including statistical modeling, data mining, and predictive modeling/forecasting into actionable insights
  • Demonstrated experience with data management language (SAS, SQL, Stata)
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements. UnitedHealth Group will adhere to all federal, state and local regulations as well as all client requirements and will obtain necessary proof of vaccination, and boosters when applicable, prior to employment to ensure compliance

Where you will work:
The position is an office-based position in Plymouth, MN. There may be an option for this role to have a hybrid schedule - work from home and work in the office - with manager approval.
Travel Requirement:
This position does not require frequent travel.
