The Senior Cryptography Analyst is a recognized technical subject matter professional in the field of cryptography. Requires basic commercial awareness. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops detailed IT work plans, schedules; project estimates, resource plans and status reports.
  • Interfaces with project staff and client management teams regarding status of projects.
  • Proactively identify and implement process improvement to reduce risk related to data security governance.
  • Provides expertise in technical domains of cryptography
  • Directly impacts the business by influencing strategic functional decisions through advice, counsel or provided services.
  • Identify tools need for cryptography, key, and certificate governance (participate in POCs and oversee implementation tasks)
  • Provides in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions.



Qualifications:

  • Experience in compliance, risk management, legal or other control-related function in large financial firms
  • 10+ years of experience in following domains: information security, risk management, data protection
  • 5+ years of professional experience within data security including encryption, certificate lifecycle management, PKI implementation, access control, cryptographic key management
  • In depth knowledge of public key infrastructure (PKI), certificate management use cases and hands on experience establishing an enterprise certificate management infrastructure with at least one leading certificate management product
  • Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and able to embrace change
  • Excellent presentation and documentation skills
  • Capacity to manage multiple activities in parallel.
  • Self-starter with the ability to define goals and strategies
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; data driven and results-oriented
  • Thinks strategically, but stays on top of tactical execution

  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
