Job Description Qualifications:
The Boeing Company's Enterprise Compliance Risk Management is looking for a Senior Compliance Analyst based out of Seal Beach, CA. Other potential work locations include: Arlington, VA; Chicago, IL; Seattle, WA, or Hazelwood, MO.
The Enterprise Compliance Risk Management group of the Corporate Compliance organization is responsible for actively engaging in the full compliance risk management cycle, with a focus on new, emerging, complex or novel compliance risks having a broad impact across the enterprise and global sites. The position requires applying strategic and analytic thinking to a wide range of essential tasks, consisting of developing hypothesis on factors contributing to compliance risk, analyzing and developing actionable intelligence on compliance risks and mitigating actions, raising awareness and communicating with affected stakeholders, and actively supporting or project managing cross-functional teams assigned to assess and implement mitigation strategies for those risks.
This role will support compliance risk management activities more broadly as follows:

  • Work with Law and Global Compliance organizations to understand contributing factors to compliance and misconduct risk and developing hypothesis on root causes
  • Targeted collection and integration of compliance-related data using networking, research, and digital and predictive analytics tools
  • Analysis, optimization, and synthesis of available data into actionable intelligence and tangible solutions and mitigation strategies
  • Connect with and effectively communicate compliance intelligence to affected stakeholders across the enterprise
  • Engage and coordinate with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and partner functions to assess and scope emerging compliance risk issues, and develop and deploy mitigation strategies


Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive networking plan and repeatable data information gathering strategy to collect and monitor compliance data for an assigned portfolio of compliance risk areas
  • Prepare written analyses, data summaries, compliance intelligence narratives, and proposed action plans
  • Consult and communicate with Compliance Risk Management (CRM) management and executive leadership on emerging compliance risks and recommended action plans
  • Work with CRM Digital Analytics team to generate compliance risk data and refine analysis
  • Contribute to development of analytics methodologies and repeatable modeling and monitoring strategies
  • Communicate and engage with stakeholders, working alone or in coordination with partner functions


This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 5+ years of experience in an ethics, law or compliance related role
  • 5+ years of experience building and sorting through complex data sets
  • Experience working in a cross functional environment


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience performing risk assessments and risk management
  • 5+ years of experience working with risk and compliance criteria and prevention strategies
  • 5+ years of experience working under minimal direction to map out and execute work plans to solve complex and diverse problems
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, including experience interviewing and assessing credibility of sources
  • Master's degree or Juris Doctorate


Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+13 years' related work experience, 19 years' related work experience, etc.).
