Senior Compensation Analyst
The ideal candidate will be proactive and ready to dive in the deep end. You will be comfortable liaising closely with leaders and employees across the organization. Principal Responsibilities:
Update compensation philosophy with leadership buy in to align with the evolving business
Play a major role in defining our practices and process for benchmarking and refreshing market data, which may vary across different business units
Develop updated job architecture, refine salary ranges
Ensure our compensation programs are competitive and retention focused
Assist in administration of the annual compensation planning process through Workday
Participate in incentive program design, analysis, budgeting, and tracking
Run quarterly promotions and adjustment processes
Develop reporting and analytics that provide insights to the executive team and managers on motivating and retaining a high caliber employee population.
Provide compensation support and strategy to new lines of business
Educate HR and Business Leaders on our compensation program
Assess jobs and implement changes as required to comply with FLSA regulations
Expertise and Capabilities:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources or related field.
5 years of Compensation experience. Experience in investment management or high tech software companies a plus.
Must have a deep understanding of total compensation programs including base pay, long-term incentives, benchmarking / market data, and job evaluation
Must have experience implementing salary ranges, developing job architecture
Strong analytical skills and mathematical aptitude required
System savvy
Strong time and project management skills
Excellent aptitude in Excel and Workday
Ability to prioritize and work on multiple requests
Must be flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
