Senior Compensation Analyst
Expanding at a rapid pace, Gopuff is seeking to hire a Senior Compensation Analyst to join the People+Culture Team. This individual contributes to the company's performance by supporting the compensation function to deliver equitable and competitive pay programs that attract key talent and reward performance. The successful candidate is customer-obsessed, a change agent who thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has strong relationship-building skills combined with effective listening and communication skills.
This role reports to our Head of Total Rewards. While Gopuff has HQ presence in Philadelphia, Austin, San Francisco, Seattle, Boston, New York, Miami, and Chicago, this opportunity is location-agnostic and remote first.

Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in compensation
- Knowledge of compensation principles, practices, incentives, equity, job evaluation methodologies
- Must be detail oriented with strong analytical skills and be able to present analytical data in an easily understandable format
- Strong technical knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets required, including development of spreadsheets with advanced formulas, functions, pivot tables, lookups, index/match
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment and be able to use independent judgment in new and challenging situations
- Ability to work independently, prioritize and manage time effectively
- Customer service attitude toward internal clients (e.g., finance, leadership, HR business partners, talent acquisition teams)
- Ability to handle confidential information with high degree of discretion
- Ability to work cross functionally with various departments
- CCP certification a plus
- Familiarity with HCM or HRIS systems
Responsibilities
- Owns full life cycle of conducting job analysis, evaluation and salary administration to determine competitive salary grades/ranges based on internal and external equity for all corporate and field roles (e.g., entry level, part time/full time, exempt/nonexempt, executive)
- Assist with analytical projects, including merit, promotion, bonus cycles, and equity plan analysis
- Assist with developing presentations for leadership and employee communications
- Work closely with HR business partners, Talent Acquisition teams, and business leaders on proposals for new hire offers, promotions, and market adjustments, including packages inclusive of all compensation components such as base pay, cash bonus, and equity awards
- Conduct analysis and support integration of employees of acquired companies
- Monitor minimum wage compliance across all locations
- Proactively recommend compensation process improvements
- Complete compensation survey submission process
- Review compensation survey results and proactively provide the analysis of market trend and recommendations for any changes in our structure or individual adjustments based on the data
- Conduct total rewards market research and analytic projects
