Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Marketing Communications teams design, execute and report on internal and external communications and PR activities, engaging with customers, outside agencies and industry organizations. They define the messages and oversee the implementation of initiatives that engage key audiences using a variety of approaches, including internal communications, media, public relations and social media, developing ideas and stories to execute internal and external communications. They leverage a trend or storyline emerging from multiple inputs, e.g., team meetings, reports, social and traditional media, politics and current events, to elevate TE's brand in the market and partner with marketing colleagues to ensure campaigns, lead generation and market-facing communications complement one another to drive marketing results and manages the relationship with TE's public relations agency of record and assigned budget. The Communications team collaborates closely with various stakeholders from executive leadership team and Human Resources to a variety of product, sales and internal marketing partners.
What You'll be Doing• Executing a comprehensive internal communications plan from concept to execution to drive greater employee engagement for Sensors BU in collaboration with cross functional stakeholders. • Driving internal campaigns around key business milestones and initiatives.• Partnering with the senior management to craft informative and compelling executive messages, organizational announcements, scripts and talking points.• Working with regional marketing leads and global plant managers to deliver messages to the larger employee population through a network of Communications Champions.• Supporting business unit programs and initiatives, such as organizational announcements, BU mergers & acquisitions communications, monthly coffee talk program, quarterly "Why We Win" podcast program, bi- monthly Focus Application webinar program, myTE posts, champions programs management, external product launch press releases, email blasts, campaign announcements, subject matter expert (SME) external communication/ earned media etc.• Developing and enhancing communications-related performance metrics to measure effectiveness, progress and business impact. • Partnering with the marketing team to drive thought leadership within the industry through targeted industry publications and original content; this includes assigning media spokespersons and working with the Corporate Communications team and TS Segment communications team to secure media training when necessary.
What your background should look like:• Bachelor's degree or higher in communications, English, journalism, or public relations required• At least 5 years marketing experience including a demonstrated ability to produce effective communication strategies • Previous global communications experience is required• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal with the ability to understand technical information, be concise, and capture interest • Fluency in English required, French, Mandarin and/ or German is strongly preferred• Experience in B2B and Electronics as part of a multi-national business preferred• Experience interacting with executive management• Knowledgeable on current communications trends and practices• A track record of developing and executing business-to-business marketing communication plans, messaging, etc. • Proven skill in using digital/social media to connect with stakeholders through compelling messages and stories• Curious and genuinely interested in learning the business to enhance communications and create new messaging platforms for the brand • Experience providing direction/briefs to agencies and managing agency relationships and budgets• Experience building and managing communications budgets

COMPENSATION• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $93,000 - $140,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
