The Senior Business Technical Analyst role will support Cox Communications' Enterprise Development and Operations (ED&O) Delivery Enablement organization as part of the operational service's financial management group. The mission of the team is to provide business and technical value, transparency, and predictability through financial and operational management using industry standard reporting and delivery tools.

The individual in this position will focus on operational support, special projects or initiatives, cost management and/or portfolio management to empower our leaders, drive desired behaviors and ensure consistent customer experience.

Our team members deliver high-value services to our business partners as a shared service organization. This model enables our Technical Analyst to be highly relevant when working within ED&O to drive various initiatives. Our Technical Analysts will develop capabilities that introduce differentiated performance and innovative ways of delivering technology while working with IT and business leaders to drive business efficiency and growth.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Able to understand and communicate complex business and technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences across departments• Facilitate and lead discussions across stakeholder groups to gain alignment on various initiatives • Develops presentation, reports and/or visualizations that for various levels of leadership• Proactively identify opportunities to streamline process, increase efficiencies, and align across teams• Looks for ways to automate manual processes to better serve client needs• Provides guidance to key stakeholders on insightful financial metrics• Develops KPIs and reports on key service-level metrics• Demonstrates a clear understanding of the DevOps technology landscape and can articulate opportunities to leadership• Partner and gathers data/report requirements to support reports, presentations, and dashboard development and other requirements
Qualifications:

MINIMUM:

(Reasonable accommodations for medical and religious objections will be considered.) • 5+ years direct experience in technology roles or similar• Forecasting and Financial reporting• Experience with using automation, metrics, and reporting to operate more efficiently• Experience with process improvement • Experience developing and presenting scorecards and dashboards• Data Visualization experience• Ability to effectively collaborate in a team environment• Ability to adjust to rapid changes in deadlines and priorities• Expert-level written and verbal communication, presentation, and technical writing skills, coupled with a strong interest in further developing and integrating enterprise business processes within technology• Advanced Microsoft Office skills

PREFERRED: • BS/BA degree in related discipline strongly preferred (Finance, Software engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Operations Science, Data Science or similar)• Significant project/program management skills • Prior experience working for an MSO• Apptio/TBM Experience• Experience in DevOps, Agile environment• SQL strongly preferred• Database experience
