Job summary
The Red Hat IT team is looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will serve as a point of contact between the business community and the business-to-business (B2B) technical support teams. You will understand existing processes and help to collect and define requirements for B2B automation solutions between Red Hat and our business partners. As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will have responsibility for working with our internal teams (Order Management, Finance, IT, etc.) and a 3rd party managed service provider in the onboarding of trading partners, production support, and implementation of related projects that support the B2B program.
Primary job responsibilities

  • Work closely with the B2B program manager to identify objectives for the program and act as a project lead on resulting initiatives
  • Analyze business processes and define detailed requirements and mapping specifications to design B2B automation solutions with trading partners
  • Provide production support to internal users and external partners; investigate and coordinate support tickets with Red Hat IT and a 3rd party managed service provider on resolution
  • Lead the onboarding of new trading partners; conduct initial contact and ongoing communications with the trading partners, provide training and user acceptance testing, and coordinate production cutover
  • Write and publish status reports on a regular basis showing progress on program objectives, partner onboarding, and operational metrics (KPI's) for the B2B program


Required skills

  • Relevant training combined with related work experience.
  • 5+ years of practical experience with electronic data interchange (EDI) standards and API's including solid knowledge of X12 and JSON
  • 5+ years of business analysis experience with B2B transactional design, mapping specifications, functional unit testing, and user acceptance testing
  • 3+ years of project management experience
  • Experience supporting a B2B environment in a production support role
  • Motivated, self-starter, with the ability to work on your own
  • Excellent organization skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects
  • Experience with 3rd party B2B Managed Service Providers is a plus
